My name is Chad, and I am an urban explorer based in North Carolina; though I tend to travel to many places around the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast regions. I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri.
I have always enjoyed photography and I enjoy traveling (within the limits of my budget, of course), and abandoned places fascinate me...and so started my life as an explorer!
I recently started making videos of my explorations, and hope that they are enjoyed, despite my amateur and unedited style...
Take only pictures, leave only footprints. As it should be perceived in terms of a successful explore, "When you've truly done something right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."
Thanks for reading! Much respect and many thanks to all my viewers and subscribers!

Talk about graffiti. At least, the place was mostly emptied of equipment, and supplies. It's awful to see some of those other, empty places that are left loaded... so wasteful. Thank you for the very interesting tour, and be careful. It's nice that you ran into that helpful man, who gave you some additional background, of the facility.👏🏻👏🏻
I grew up next to his Homestead in Coventry in Rhode Island we used to go there on field trips it wasn't until later that I really understood the value of his contribution
Glad to see you out exploring again!
@@wellsmiller8015 Thanks man, good to hear from you! Got a new phone last year when my old one died, so I lost your number... Got a few more coming out soon, been having some wild adventures lately. Hope all is well with you, we gotta do some more exploring again. 👍😁
3:53 the power of hunter
That’s interesting
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it! Hope you're having a great weekend my friend! 👍🙂
Nice to see you posting again. This one wasn’t very exciting, but your commentary was interesting. Hope you’re having a great weekend and take care, my friend 👍👏😊💕🤗😎✌️
Thank you so much, it's good to be back...so far I have 2 definite releases, and at least 1-4 'splores planned. Yeah, this was a pretty basic explore, not alot to show off, but it was cool to revisit and video. It's a pleasure to hear from you again; I hope you've been doing well and staying cool. I'm working this weekend, but that's okay, hope you're having a great weekend, take care my friend! 🙂❤️👍🎆☀️
The name of the park is out there. I have seen this park on another video. You were kindly very cautious, but don't worry too much about whether someone recognizes it... *That was a super tour of the place. I found it very interesting. The other individual said the same thing about it not being demolished... and that Hank Aaron did once play there. Thank you, very much. ☀️⚾️👏🏻
Thank you so much, great to hear from you! I think I know the other explorer you're referring to...I try to be discreet, but this is a rather well known location; I'm pretty shocked it's still standing (or so far as I know from when I shot this about a year ago). I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was a fun little place to check out. Hope you're doing well, and have a great weekend! 🙂❤️👍
Awesome! Loved that boiler room!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it...that boiler room was my favorite too! Hope you're doing well. 👍❤️🙂
I told u I will enjoy your video and I did thank you
Indeed you did tell me, thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it; have a great day friend! 👍🙂
Welcome back!
Thank you! Good to be back; got at least 3 more adventures to post so far. 👍🙂
You’re way more knowledgeable about the equipment than I would be. Great job exploring this huge complex, my friend 👍😊💕😎✌️
Thank you so much! Great to hear from you, I hope all has been going well with you. I've been working lately, I'm a food service tech at a hospital; been there about 9 months...but I'm trying to get back into exploring. I have a few more adventures coming up. I'm glad you enjoyed this, have a great weekend! 🙂👍❤️
I could see myself getting lost in this place. It’s sprawling. I enjoyed the tour, my friend 👍😊💕😎✌️
It is indeed a massive place, I've had lots of fun here...and definitely have gotten lost in there a few times! 🙂❤️👍
👋 hi. I’ve missed seeing you on here. That place is massive. Thanks for sharing this part of the tour and hope you’re doing well, my friend 😊👍😎✌️
Thank you! I've missed you too, and doing the TH-cam thing...I'm doing well, working again, so that's been taking alot of my time. Great to hear from you too my friend! Hope things are good with you too! 🙂❤️👍
The equipment you saw in the radiology is a C-arm it’s for fluoroscopic procedures
If I was exploring an abandoned place, and discovered an old ceiling fan, I would personally dismantle it, take it home, and get it working again, as I don't like seeing old fans getting scrapped or abandoned.
Wow, I was stationed there 1957-58 we had F100 fighter and KB50 tanlker
Woah cool video!
Im from moe sargis premiere :))
I wonder who the person spying on them and trying to get their boat was..
Hey, thank you so much! I remember you, glad you came by...it felt weird to advertise my channel on his stream. I'm wondering about that mystery person myself; hopefully he goes back and figures it out.
@@C4Explore yep
is this old abandoned place is still there?
Some of the things in there would go with me the vise on stand chop saw on stand the big drill press that milling machine
And the last time it was, restored was in 1992 i,m from the Netherlands i also did the other statues of the old battleground
Good explore man
Dang I wish I could go behind you guys and check out all the cool finds as well.
Do you have Instagram?
Mantap banget sangat menghibur
Sad fans 😢😮
Oh wow. A Futura Revolution. Don’t see many of those anymore
F- for camera work
Good morning friends 🇮🇩😆😆😆😆😆💜💜💜💜💜😍😍😍😍😍😍
I'm surprised there aren't a million wasp nests with all that wood being there.
GTA SA❤
Very nice I don’t see that often 😎
Awesome looking place
Cool explore
Nice little find. ❤ thanks for sharing. Big or small it doesnt matter.
I would have taken one of those black fans.
Good to see you back. Getting motivated to create videos can be tough. Im also behind on watching, just getting caught up now. This site looks HUGE. I like how there was so much natural decal as opposed to vandalism . The roof was cool with all those hatches. Thos shafts with the doors open, they remind me so much of UK ROC cold war bunkeers lol. Great location and brilliant explore.
Massive location❤ great explore my friend. Keep it up.
Drink up. It’s cute. I guess they have to be good at finding water to survive. 🐿️❤️🌊
New friend here. Urban exploring can be a lot of fun. You never know what you might find. Thanks for showing us around. I enjoyed the narrations. It’s not too bad shape for being abandoned.
Nicely Done! Great commentary! I did a commercial inspection of one of those. The control room was very interesting, but I'm sure they had it locked when you were there.
I noticed some of the sagging ceiling fans are missing blades too.
Awesome place! So large. Could spend so much time exploring there!
Wow! This place is quite the sprawling complex. The history is interesting. I’m so thankful you were able to do this explore. There’s no way we’d ever get to see a place like this, without your passion for exploring and filming it. Don’t ever worry about talking throughout the video. If you didn’t, I’d have no idea what some of the things were used for. It also makes the video more entertaining. I enjoyed you telling how you arrived at your channel name. I had thought about it before and wondered why the C4. Yep, you have every right to be there because it has your name on it 😁 I really don’t mind graffiti, except for the vulgar stuff, otherwise some of it shows artistic abilities and is pleasant to look at. I’m glad you’re so mindful of your safety as I know I’m not the only one that cares about your wellbeing. I wonder what the name of that nauseating green paint is. It seems to be used, a lot, in institutions and government buildings. I’m glad you went in that little building. So much interesting stuff in there. All the gauges and control panels. Sodium hydroxide is basically lye. It’s used in many household cleaners. As for that white stuff, I have no clue what that could be. I’m glad this will be 3 parts because I’m curious to see more. How many acres do you suppose this entire place is? Take care, my friend, and enjoy your 4th of July. See you on the next one😊💕👍
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And thank you for your kind words; I'm happy to know others take such an interest in what I do, and how I do it. I looked up the acerage, and found this complex takes up just over 20 acres...pretty good chunk of land! As far as the green paint, I'm not sure what the exact color name is (unless it's olive drab), but I've always thought of it as "bile govornment green" 😉. I hope you're doing well and that you had a great 4th of July weekend, there's gonna be more interesting finds for sure in this place! 👍❤😁
WOW what a ginormous complex that was. I'll bet there are some toxic remains in there. Thanks for taking us with you. Be careful. 👏
Thank you for watching and commenting! Yeah, it's a huge place; no telling what kind of toxins are in there...👍😁
Sweet explore ❤. I love this nature taking it back. Great explore.
Thank you so much! This was a fun one...lots of natural decay and overgrowth. I'm glad you enjoyed it! 👍😁
I loved how light-hearted and upbeat you sounded in this. Your excitement shows. The signage was pretty cool. I liked the color charts. Glad you decided to video it. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend, my dear friend. Take care and watch out for bees in the bushes 😁💕😳
Thank you so much! I was definitely feeling pretty good that day; and fortunately the bees cooperated by not stinging me. 😉 I'm having a good weekend, hope you are too dear friend, and take care! 👍❤😁
I haven't used one of those for quite awhile. Even though many of them have reopened again lately, around me.🎉 Too bad it didn't open after the pandemic, if that was part of the reason it closed. Thanks for sharing with us. ☺️
Thank you for watching and commenting! I tend to use the brushless drive thrus myself (and it ends up raining when I do)...Ive seen a few abandoned carwashes, and lots that look close to being dead but still worked. Hopefully they'll be able to reopen this one, or turn it into something useful. 👍😁
@@C4Explore I hope so, too.
Rumahnya kenapa pak, salam kenal
Thank you so much! 👍😁
Nice explore mate nothing like exploring an old Sanatorium, so much medical items still left behind. That X-ray room was awesome ill have to watch your other videos on this place cheers.
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, these old hospitals make for excellent explores; I'm always amazed at how much got left here. It's like they all just walked away one day and never bothered to return. Hope you're doing well, great to hear from you; cheers to you sir! 👍😁
Hello again, my friend. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. Thanks for making these videos. The wheelchair beeping had to have been really creepy. 😳 The little Kangaroo machines are tube feeding pumps. The tubing is put in it and it regulates the flow of the feeding formula. I can’t believe the equipment left behind. Autoclaves, X-ray machines, wheelchairs, etc. I wonder if it was really more lucrative, for vandals, to sell the copper from wiring, or to sell costly equipment? I’m sure it was way easier to sell the wiring, than to sell the used equipment? I agree that most things were from the 80’s or 90’s. X-ray films always have the patients names on them, but not much more identifying information than that. Strange how they’re just strewn all over. Thank you for not opening that refrigerator and for not going up to the rooftop. I was worried about the stairs, too. I hope you realize how much I appreciate you making these videos. I hope you’re doing well, my dear friend. Blessings and hugs🙏🤗
Thank you so much, and you're very welcome; I'm so glad you enjoyed this series! I feel like when I was a kid; showing off my room to a friend...it makes exploring a site (especially one like this) so much more rewarding when you know others are excited to see it as well. Yeah, that beeping chair had been freaky; one of the weirdest things I've come across in an explore. I knew you'd know what those Kangaroo things were; thank you for letting me know! It's unbelievable how much was left up there...I was especially shocked to see the unbroken jars of water. No problem on leaving the fridge alone...I don't want to think about the nastiness that might've been in there...I and Oysterhead have done the roof before, in fact one sunny day we had lunch up there, but it was so wet and obviously more deteriorated, I figured discretion was the better part of valor (and possibly falling through). Again, I'm so glad you enjoyed this set, and I'm happy to have been able to bring it to you! I hope you have a great weekend my friend; love and blessings to you as well! 👍❤😁🙏
