First of all, thank you both for always being such positive and encouraging folks! I try never to miss one of your videos. In 2017 I won the GOING THE EXTRA MILE - GEM- award from my place of employment. My peers/fellow employees voted for me to receive this award. I have never felt so loved, appreciated and surprised. I was truly humbled and honored. The award has engraved the following…”For maintaining the highest standards,looking after the smallest detail,and always going the extra mile for our employees”. I retired two years later and I count this award as one of my greatest blessings from God.

Hello Pastor Vince & Sherry! You two are seriously the cutest and sweetest couple ever. It is a delight to watch you and how well you compliment and enjoy each other. You make marriage look really good. I may not have won much in the way of material things in this life but the day Jesus became my Savior I won all that I will ever need for all eternity. It really doesn't get any better than that. Thank you both for your encouraging and wise words and for these wonderful videos. God bless you for all that you do!

Greetings! It's so nice to see an uplifting video today. I once won a contest from HGTV that included a recliner of my choice and a huge outdoor gas grill. It also included some things that I gave away because I had no need for them. It was ironic because I entered at the very last minute because someone talked me into it. I would love to hear a talk on brokenness, if that is something you feel comfortable discussing. Love and blessings ♥️🙏

I love your videos. I haven't won much! One time at a Tupperware party I won most of the games. They were word games, and at that time I was good at them. Not so much anymore. I still have one of the prizes - a metal tray! Your story about your mom helping with an essay reminded me of a story about my sister; and another about my daughter. My sister had written a story for school. She asked our writer/editor dad to proofread it. He did more than that. He basically rewrote it. She came home from school after it was graded, and said "Dad, we got an A!" Similar story about my daughter. She had been sick a few days and when she went back to school she found out she needed to complete a scrapbook - one page per scene of Romeo and Juliet. It was due the next day, so I helped her! It was fun! Anyway - we got an A too!!

Could maybe you discuss forgiveness .. it is so very hard … it’s something we have to do or the Lord won’t hear my prayers ♥️♥️I go on with where I am in my life but deep down there’s a deep deep hurt

Thank you for this video Vince and Sherry, You both are so fun! Ok, first on my list is accepting Jesus in my heart. When I was in 6 th grade I was on a swim team. In one of the swim meets I was to swim the breast stroke. I did my best and came in last..but the folks in the stands clapped and cheered for me because I finished! I was so humbled and thrilled! I'll never forget that. I hope you have a pleasant evening. I was wondering where your nickname Larue came from. I think you mentioned you were called that in college. ❤️

I’ve won a few prizes when I was still working. One prize was a car vac…….😂 Re: questions for you to discuss: 1. What is an appropriate thing to say to the pastor after the worship service when he’s shaking hands with you as you leave? Should one say how much the sermon meant to them, or say something off topic like “How about that Chiefs game?” 2. Was Luke an apostle? 3. What criteria was used to determine the books included in the Bible? Thank you for this enjoyable video! After that, a friend of his nicknamed him The Prettiest Boy in School. He told our daughters this when they were growing up and to this day they like to bring it up and have a good laugh!

Vince I would like to know your stand on the tithing of 10% or not tithing and just becoming a joyful giver? There’s lots and lots of push back on this topic because it was implemented in the Old Testament and when Jesus died on the cross it was finished as was the law. I’d be interested in what you think. Well I haven’t ever won anything much that was expensive but my memories of winning in sports is precious to me! My biggest win was accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior!

You guys are so sweet and fun to watch! I won an apple pie contest among a group of older bakers. I was shocked and thrilled! Still a great memory for me. A possible future discussion topic might be regarding those who we will see in heaven. I grew up in a non church home. I believe my parents both grew up in the church but we never went together there. I sometimes fear I won’t see them when I go to heaven. Something you said here made me think about this. Thank you both! ❤

I won a Civitan Citizenship Award when I was a senior in high school and a trophy my junior year in Home Economics. A subject I would like to hear yall discuss is how to discuss a tragedy with non believers - like a school shooting or the recent devastation from Helene. I’ve had people ask me how a loving God would allow things like that to happen. I try to tell them evil will always exist until Christ returns and that God gives man free will and many choose evil over good, I just have trouble trying to explain that.

Hi Vince and Sherry! My grandkids just left this afternoon to go home three states away. To cheer myself up and take my mind off, I hopped on TH-cam to get my weekly blessing from you two! Thank you so much for being so faithful! Recently, I was reminded of something I won as we were cleaning out my mom's house after she passed away. I had competed in a regional Miss America Preliminary Pageant when I was in college in the late seventies. I found the costume I had made for the talent portion of the contest. I sang a song from the musical "Oklahoma" and won the talent portion of the contest! I was fourth runner-up over all. Quite a memory to be reminded of all these years later!

I was a second team all league soccer player in high school. Vince, I would like you to discuss how you write devotions and walk through a passage with us. This really sparked my curiosity when you brought it up awhile back. Greatly appreciate you two and your channel!

I did the envelope system also. But the second envelope was for savings. In 12 month I was debt free except for my home and I finally have money saved. Thank you for you encouragement.

Oh goodness, that happened to me when I was little, I picked out a tiger mask and when I went to the party all the girls were princesses. I wanted to leave but my mom made a comment at the party and I had to stay. I was so unhappy lol

Living on Social security is tough. I think we don't have enough to make it through the month. God always provides for us.

Hello Pastor Vince & Sherry! This channel is quickly becoming one of my favorite "happy" places and with two of my most favorite people. Your videos never disappoint. My fear was always in growing closer to the Lord and what He might call me to do or ask of me. Being an introvert, I am far more comfortable being in the shadows than in the light of things. Now I can honestly say that I see His hand has been on my life the whole journey and each step has been preparing me for what is to come. I have no doubt that God is going to use me for His glory and I don't fear any longer because whatever He asks of me I know He will supply me with all that I need to get it done and He will be with me every step of the way. That is a joy and a heartfelt peace that is truly beyond words. Thank you for these videos and it is such a pleasure to see you both in them together. Vince and Sherry, I love the photo on your video introduction, it made me laugh today! I also didn’t know that about the five stones David took to fight Goliath, thank you for the insight. I loved watching Pastor Adrian Rogers on t.v., he was a mighty man of God, and now he is in heaven enjoying the Lord’s mighty presence.

I need to trust God more in helping me when I have fears...Since my husband passed a year ago, I have fears ...so I need the prayers. The story of David is very compelling. When people mess up, it shows a true depth of character when they own up to a mistake, rather than trying to deny it. Thanks for reminding us about this important man in the Bible….😊 The things that scare me involve being put into the limelight and being the center of attention all of a sudden. I much rather prefer working in the background, away from attention. So when I was asked to start playing the piano at church, I was a bundle of nerves. I now ask God to direct my hands and help the music to be a blessing, which has helped me a great deal in realizing it’s not about me, but about honoring God and His holy name.
