I remember when the Lord moved in my for the first time . I was 11 years old when I went on a search for Jesus in my life. That year I started walking to every vacation Bible school. I had both my younger family with me. One in a wagon the other by their hand, 😊and off we would go. This was in the 51. My sister who was 3 years younger and I gain a strong love to learn more about God’s Love , forgiveness, his love gifts and the scripture to Know more . She and I did it differently but when all was said and done our we are walking and living on the right road. I enjoyed the lost chapter, it had lots of meaning to me. My brother turned out very differently. He disappeared and have not seen or heard from him in 40+years. I spend time with God’s words every day. For a few hours. God has Blessed me in so many ways during my time on earth. Thank you for your support and encouragement in the last lap of my journey .
Thank you so much for sharing your testimony on being found by Jesus! We have a son that we haven’t seen in years and it is heartbreaking but it is his decision. I have learned humility and how to trust Christ with all things, especially the things I don’t understand.
Loved this. ❤❤❤❤you spoke about joy brings to my mind the hymn that says “give Me joy in my heart, keep me praising, give me joy in my heart I pray. Keep me praising till the end of days.
I enjoy these videos so much. This actually happened to me before, I was the faithful, dutiful daughter and my sibling wasn’t. It’s hard……love Luke and this parable. Thx for sharing with us!
Greetings! You know, I never looked at these parables as all having a common theme. It's actually kind of obvious, yet I never thought of them in that way. Thank you so much!! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Thank you for explaining Luke Chapter 15....I never thought of it as one parable...but I see it now...I followed along in my Bible as you were talking...You were also talking about "Joy"...that word as been popping up in different areas in my life for 2 weeks or more....that has to be my word for 2025...Since my husbands passing a year ago, I have not had much joy or happiness...but I know God has been Faithful through it all.. I feel like He is telling me that this "Joy" will come....I just need to give all my sadness and heartache to Him....He will take care of the rest. I am trying... Thankful for you both... I always like to listen to you both..♥
Susan, I will be praying that you are filled with joy in 2025! I can only imagine the feelings of pain experienced by losing your husband, but your faith is going to bring you to joy and peace. Remember, riches in heaven is when our faith is tested in our lives and we give Jesus our all. Thank you for being so encouraging to Sherry and me. God bless you and I pray your joy will make you an even greater blessing to all!
Wow, I love how you walked us through those 'scenarios'. Oftentimes, we don't really see this in it's entirety. You two are just beautiful and I so appreciate your teachings. Thank you, Pastor Vince and Sherry. I see this with new eyes today ❤
Hi Vince and Sherry, Thank you for this video. How interesting! I appreciate your sharing in detail. I am with Sherry regarding the older brother...he can't help how he feels..I agree that his feelings were hurt. Sherry said she's holding out hope for the older son. I agree. We haven't been given the rest of this story...So I'm hopeful ,too. Have a restful night. 🙂❤️
Thank you for watching and supporting our channel! Sherry and I have spoke on this Scripture countless times and we have sympathy for all the people in the parable. Have a great week!
Thanks for sharing. I know as I get older I lose my car at a parking lot. And to often….And it’s getting scary 🫣 I may need to purchase a plunger and tie a scarf on it and slap it on my roof 😂 cheap car finder 👍
Wow. What a teaching video. I would love to see more of this kind of video Pastor Vince. You explaining the Bible. I enjoyed it. Took notes Togo and read Luke 15. From all your experiences which book in the Bible you would advise someone to start reading? God’s blessings to you both. Love you all.
Thank you so much for watching our videos and encouraging us with your kind words. To answer your question about which book in the Bible to start reading, I would select Luke or John from the NT and Proverbs or the Psalms in the OT. Eventually you want people to complete the entire Bible, but there is no race about it.
Very insightful discussion. In my life I have been each of the types of lost. (Sherry, I also felt compassion for the feelings of the older son in that parable.) Looking back at how Jesus never left me, I can only be thankful for His grace and mercy in my life. I never want to live life "my way" again! You both always give me so much to ponder, thank you!
Hey guys!! So very good. Vince you set up your next video 😅😅! Could you talk about the parable of the seeds? Such a great chapter. ❤❤ see yall on the next video.
I am listening to your video. I definitely relate to the older son. Right now I am struggling with the joy. I have experienced it twice in my life. Right now, I feel like I am checking off boxes and not quite feeling the joy. I do scripture writing, Bible studies and listen to worship music, but seem to be stalled. What can I do different to find the joy?
Thank you so much for watching! To answer your question, we all experience those seasons in our lives where everything seems distant and our soul seems dry. Don’t worry about yesterday or the future, just be thankful for today. Gratitude has also helped me regain joy in my life as I list all the gifts God has blessed me with throughout my life. Remember, don’t give up or give in because we know God hears our prayers.
Great message. Thank you for sharing. You both are such a blessing.
Thank you so much for encouraging us!
I so enjoy your insight into the scriptures.

That’s a great idea with the plunger and your car! What would Ken think!
@ he thinks that is a great idea, and I should get a Patton and sell the idea 😂😂😂😂

I was the lost coin type. Grew up in church - lost within the house! Got saved at 18!! Yay
Amen! Thanks for sharing your story with us!
I have never thought of this chapter as relating to different kinds of lost. Thanks for this perspective!

Good explanation! The thumbnail had me curious and a bit worried!
How are you enjoying Lynyrd?
Thanks for watching! Lynyrd is doing great, I try to drive him a few days each week and he never disappoints.
