Yes, too many times I have responded in the flesh instead of trusting in the spirit and it always made the situation worse instead of better. Thank you so much for watching our channel!
i just pulled myself away from a conflict and listened to your message, and pray like Jesus did .....that concept became a whole new meaning today...why I haven't done that through the years. I wait till night time to pray our morning to pray instead of during the day or during a conflict ......may the Lord bless you as you have blessed, many people who listen to your wisdom....blesses and favor to you and your family as you glorify the Lord.....
Wow! Please do more of these "real" life problems/biblical solution videos. Great job you two. I treasure you both. God's best to you both . Lovely family.
Wow! I’m so glad you did this video. I was in the middle of a bad situation and now I feel calmer about it. Jesus was such a good teacher and you both are good representatives for Jesus! Thank you!
Very timely and well said! I am not very good at dealing with difficult people. I am finding that the more I am in HIS word how all wrong I am doing this. Thank you for this.
💞Thank you, Vince & Sherry!💞You’ve made me realize that I’ve been dealing the wrong way with difficult people & situations for probably my whole life! (82 years worth!). Now I will endeavor to prayerfully change my attitude & handle these kinds of problems differently with a better Christ-like result. The Scripures you shared are very helpful.💞
Great encouragement! When people are difficult I have learned that to respond with a quiet answer. Not easy to do....but better than the agitation I feel if I try to defend myself or correct the other person. Then when I get away from the problem I sit alone with the Lord until the upset in my heart calms. I may have to meet with the Lord many times before I stay at peace, but eventually He comforts my emotions. I am not always successful, but when I do respond this way things iron our more quickly. I also try to avoid folks who are consistently difficult whenever possible and keep my private life separate from folks who don't have a peaceful heart. If I have to meet with someone who is difficult I do it outside my home. This way I can leave when I feel I have had enough...it's hard to ask others to leave my home, so I only meet them in places I can leave when I need to.
Great idea on how to deal with difficult people! The idea of meeting at a place other than your home is brilliant! It’s hard to leave your own home when people are in it!! I pray that you have a blessed 2025.
Rick and I just finished watching. Such solid truth and encouragement. We have had to deal with this issue often in our lives, sometimes we did it right and sometimes we failed. I think the main key is to be sure that we ourselves are right with the Lord in our attitudes and thoughts. A little humility goes a long, long way. Thank you again for your faithful hearts to share and equip. Blessings to you all! 💖 Margaret Elaine
You’re such a wonderful couple. I just love you both so much. Wanted to let you know that I got my one year Bible and have started reading it on January 1st. It’s now January 2 and I’m right on schedule. Haha. 🤣 couldn’t resist.
Hello guys! Thank you for the great video. Fun to see some of your family. Appreciate all you bring to us. Keep them coming . Look forward to seeing you in 2025. ♥️🖐♥️
Thank you ! I try to remember that I can’t control the words or actions of others only my own. I’m with family right now and more family are arriving tomorrow so this message was perfect timing. God Bless you both!
You both just spoke to my heart . Needed to hear this. Specifically today . Thank you Jesus. I’m glad I found your Chanel. You both are so beautiful. Your facial expressions are priceless .May you be blessed today and always. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom.
Another great video from my two favorite people. My problem is I tend to be too much a of a pleaser so I yield to others far more than I probably should. I hate drama or confrontation and I just want peace so I do spend a lot of time alone. I honestly do prefer it because it's actually my time with God. Spending time with most people leaves me feeling drained but my solitude with the Lord makes me feel refreshed and at peace and He has taught me so much in those quiet times of solitude. I pray you both have a wonderful new year and that God continues to bless you and your family in every way possible. Love & Hugs to you both!!!
Thanks for watching and responding to our video! I agree with you, I probably deferred on many things to keep the peace. Most disagreements could go either way without a big difference in the outcome. The difference between pride and humility is the difference between pleasing God or disappointing God. If I didn’t let my pride get in my way I could make the right decision most of the time!
Learned a lot from my experience in a ladies Bible Study. To make a short story What I learned was Setting Boundaries with my ew friends. What helped me was l learner to recognize when some was truthful or telling a story ! Was not easy but needed to know what to do. I had a person who wanted my job at work- So I began praying for them. The more I prayed the better things got. One day this person was caught doing a bad behavior and was released of his job instantly. Pray works !
Thank you, Vince and Sherry. I can’t take my eyes off that gorgeous Christmas Cactus. (People disappoint. But God never disappoints ❤) we need to lift each other up in prayer and ask god to fill us with his love and forgiveness. We need each other more now than ever. Gods Blessings ❤ and I miss you two so much.
Thank you Avery! As I was preparing this video I wanted to entitle it, “How to avoid difficult people,” but I quickly realized that was impossible. I figured since I couldn’t control others I wanted to show what the biblical expectation was for controlling myself. I pray your family has a blessed 2025!
This video reinforced so much, thanks Pastor Vince and Sherry, for sharing. So often I have to realize i am being the difficult one and that is so humbling!! However, when dealing with a difficult person, the Lord has helped me so much not to react. Such a great video as usual!❤...............Roxy
Thank you so much Vince and Sherri for this beautiful message. I have been off and on for abut 2 months watching your videos. And I have purchased the 4 Gospel books. And looking to Start writing the book of John. I had started writing the book of Matthew, and only got through Chp.1 and quickly though to just start with John so I put that aside and will revisit after I’m done with John being John is a smaller book. Thanks so much for the videos and please keep them coming I enjoy the videos and seeing the humbleness in the both of you. God Bless you both.
Thank you so much for following our channels and leaving us encouraging comments. It is a great discipline to spend time with the Word by writing it in your own hand. I pray that you have a wonderful 2025!
Happy New Year Pastor Vince and Sherry! Such a good word to start this year. You made a great point to examine your own heart first. The other can’t know what we are dealing with and we can’t know all that’s going on in their world. I loved what you said , Sherry, about diffusing the situation with grace. We know there will be difficult folks but we always have to remember they are God’s created and He loves them unconditionally. That’s so hard but the Lord commands us to go first in forgiveness. Something I have to keep before the Lord ! Thank you for your wisdom !
Such great content. Unfortunately, in the past, I have not dealt well with confrontation. Now I access the situation and walk away it is not worth my health to deal with negative people.
I believe most of us don’t want to deal with conflict but it is an important part of life. I agree with you that a negative person is not worth losing your health or your testimony.
Thank you for your insight and wisdom in dealing with difficult people and ourselves. It is very hard to deal with some people, because you want to be a good witness, but some people can push our buttons! You both have a blessed New Year! So wonderful to see your daughter and granddaughter!
I had a coworker years ago who managed to upset me just about every day - sometimes to tears. I started asking God to remind me of His presence whenever I would start getting upset. And every time He would give me a worship song! After a while I would leave this young man to finish his work before I attempted to finish up my work - just to stay out of his way. Haha! One time after he had quit I was going to be alone for a week while my new coworker was going to be off for a few days. My boss asked if I wanted him to ask this young man to come in to help me. I gave him an emphatic “no!” He looked kind of surprised. More recently my sister and I had a little . . . I’m not sure what to call it. I was generally upset about pretty much everything because the anniversary of my husband’s death was fast approaching and I was dreading Christmas. Anyway, I asked her what she wanted for her birthday dinner - two weeks before Christmas! Her attitude in general had been that she didn’t care about anything. Her answer was an attitude filled “I don’t care!” I got upset and left the room. After crying a while, and crying in the shower I went into her room and apologized. We made up and she decided she wanted my chile rellenos. But, me getting upset wasn’t so much that she didn’t care, but more that I was already upset about something else, and I went off to have my pity party. I’m glad I went to her to make things right. She understood I had been upset, and not myself.
Thanks for sharing from your life in this subject! I agree, sometimes we are upset about something completely different than the problem before us. When we open our hearts to God He will guide us in the right words to say to the right people.
Very nice video and I appreciate what you said about Scripture that says we should always be peaceful. I deal with difficult people all the time. I try not to get upset, but I remind myself that Jesus died for them too, and pray that He will allow me to see them as he sees them. It was nice to see your daughter and granddaughter. Thank you and Happy New Year.
Thank you for sharing your great insight into this challenge we all face. As a pastor I never knew when I would encounter a difficult person, so I tried to have my devotion and prayer time early in the morning to prepare myself for the unexpected. Thank you for your kind words and I pray you have a blessed 2025!
Oooooh! This is sooo good! I learned to pray for them. My attitude is so rotten over them that I slowly learned this. It took time...lol. Years ago after I became a Christian, there was a supervisor I worked for that almost no one liked. The Lord impressed upon my heart to begin each day at work by telling myself something that was complementary about her. It could not be the color of her outfit or material things about her. It had to be more personal about her. The first day, I prayed..."Lord, I feel her blue eyes are pretty." Next day, her hair. As time went on, it was about something slightly kind I saw in her. Months later, it was..."I love her in a Godly love. Bless you heart, Lord." Do you know what God did? She began to find favor in me. Later she moved me to the top two positions there. She smiled at me often and a few times, she patted me on my shoulder. I learned such a HUGE lesson over this and it was all God! I thank him much for this. That was 50 years ago. Praise God for his leading. xxx
This was a great message, I liked how you emphasized the importance of staying calm while encountering difficult people and situations.

The way I try to deal with harder people is to repeat Romans 12 v 18 in my head! Or try to repeat it.
Using Scripture as your guide is a great way to ensure you are following the teachings of Jesus. I pray you have a blessed 2025!
