A shorter wire means less resistance. so if you were to say have 12 pole pairs, a 3 phase motor would have 4 coils per phase. By increasing the number of phases ( wiring the poles in parallel ) a 6 phase motor would have 2 coils per phase. Meaning shorter wire, less resistance, more power. The best solution would be to wire each pole separately.

Yes, an engine can run on dissociated anhydrous ammonia. University of Iowa was working on that 10 years ago. Problem is, where are you going to get the Hydrogen? Anhydrous ammonia is nasty stuff, and its toxicity will probably disqualify it from mass-market usage to replace gasoline and diesel. Farmers have been using it for decades, and maybe they can convert their tractors to using it without overloading the demand.

Personally i prefer "fried chicken oil" but to each his own!

lol, no. ammonia and hydrogen are a dead end, it might have a place when we have energy abundance far into the future. For these to work we need 2-3 times more renewable energy for each km traveled. So we have to build 2-3 x solar/windmills for it to even be viable.

The video said it all. It’s all very well having a hydrogen engine but it is not as efficient as an EV, you need electricity first to produce the Hydrogen even tho that said hydrogen is less efficient than the EV. In simple terms using Electricity to produce a less efficient fuel than the electricity itself. The one aspect not mentioned in the video is the costs involved in just one hydrogen fuel point, it costs millions and can only dispense fuel to a very limited amount of vehicles per day due to the fact it can only hold a small amount of Hydrogen in gas form before the system has to generate more from its liquid storage tanks which have to be specially produced and maintained. This factor has yet to be overcome for mass market production. Running a hydrogen vehicle would be great but at this time it just doesn’t make sense economically when the EV is far more efficient and it can be fuelled from home overnight, has already an expanding charging infrastructure and the tech on the vehicles & batteries is moving forward at a tremendous pace.

at 3:27 it sure looks like a 3 phase motor (only 3 power terminals) I suspect that it is a 6 pole or more, and you would still drive it with 3 phases, cause that is all you ever need (except for marketing).
