  • Toyota Drops A Bomb On Dealers - You’re Either In Or You’re OUT!
With Toyota's latest announcement, things are about to change for dealerships in the US and other parts of the world. If you run a dealership or are about to buy a vehicle from one, you will need to hear this news, as it may change how you buy cars and how much you pay for them.
Toyota is about to cut dealerships out of its business. This means you could be buying your Toyota vehicles straight from the manufacturer, the same way that people buy vehicles from Tesla.

Clearly with mixed feelings, I would hate to see the physical experience go away. However, with $2k-$25k dealer markups along with the margins made on each vehicle from several hundreds of dollars to several thousands ie. Diesel engines and upper trim levels, it would be good for the consumer to have a controlled and transparent purchasing experience along with all other consumer items. Who doesn't love the world we live in today when your item is delivered straight to your door.

Toyota doesn't have the capability to financially fund having vehicles in every dealership that's why Toyota uses the dealership partners program

Could it be the management team is smarter? Electric grid is not sustainable for electric vehicles across the world

GM and Honda ended their EV joint venture recently. Chevrolet is figuring out the blazer EV platform is too expensive, Volkswagen can’t make a profit on their small electric vehicles and they are not selling many either, The dominoes are falling all over while Toyota knew that this was coming. Everyone jumped on the bandwagon now everyone has too much inventory and the supplies to make them is too expensive.
