sounds like maybe the motor got unplugged from the esc

They will all control the same. they all use the same chassis. They just change out the body. some may come with rubber tires

@@apexlegends1325 it’s worth the extra for the acxwa CD chassis. It’s purpose built for drifting and it has so much tuning adjustment, also the wheelbase is adjustable so you can fit tons of different 1/24-1/28 bodies

@@martinalberto4960 Yeah this is way better than LDRC. Way more control, can hold much bigger/longer drifts, and feels much easier to flick into drifts.

@@martinalberto4960 Less slop in the parts, but similar plastic quality. This size of RC car has much more aftermarket support tho, wheels, bodies, electronics, etc.

I have ldrc 1802 white FC with upgrade remote btw. Just not a fan of the twitchy gyro

I was not able to fit the stock servo onto the axcwa chassis. Can you post a model number for that injora servo? Or a link of possible? TIA

I don’t have the ACXWA kit yet. I have it on order from AliExpress though but as Apex states in his video the AGFRC B05CLS should fit the ACXWA kit

@@shawnbarnes8863 oh well then that's something you'll have to look into, the axcwa build video says you can use an "1802" servo which I have no idea if that's someone's part number. I tried the sub micro servo used on this channel's link but for some reason it goes crazy if I use the dasmikrov5 gyro or if I try to just use the gyro built in to my dumbo rc receiver

Haha yeah the LDRC’s were great to learn on. It’s cheap way to try out RWD RC drifting. But a well tuned chassis at the 1/24-1/28 scale is so much more fun to drive. I’d like to see LDRC improve on their chassis design, but I don’t see that happening!

If it has the new remote with the dial for the gyro just turn it all the way to 0

I believe ACXWA makes a 80 degree angle kit, but I havent tried it. I think they sell it on aliexpress

this is an old Onisiki Gyro for 1/10 cars. They are a little easier to get hooked up to the LDRC chassis, but isnt as good as some micro specific gyros

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the metal body on the GTR

it will fit the chassis. all the bodies share the same chassis. I havent tested if the body will fit since the servo is moved forward. it may require some trimming under the body

Yes, I would still recommend the white rx7! Just make sure to add an external gyro to it, I like the Dasmikro v5 for these cars.

i'd also recommend using a new esc. the stock k989/969 esc doesnt seem to like the servo/gyro, it creates a lot of servo shake/wobble

@@imaginatorproductions hmm maybe check to see if everything can move freely in the front end suspension. Sounds like something is preventing it from turning left. Could be hitting the body, or it’s getting bound up in the tie rods

@ when you mean ‘moves freely in the front end suspension’ do you mean make sure the wheels are turning as far left as possible? Because if so I’ve checked to make sure they do (as in they turn the same distance as they do when turning right) and when I move the wheels with my hands they don’t seem to come into contact with the body at all. One thing which could explain the problem is the fact that when I do donuts turning right, the gyro causes the wheels of the car to twitch side to side. However when I try to do donuts turning left, the wheels don’t twitch as vigorously as they do when it turns right. Hopefully I’ve explained that clearly enough lol

Thats a tough choice! The drift art chassis looks soooo nice! But i have never driven one. I'm not sure if the LDRC electronics would work on the ACXWA CD chassis. Im just thinking the motor might be too big. But I dont know for sure. But maybe you could wire up a smaller motor if it is. The CD chassis is way better than the LDRC. You can hold long drifts at high angle and its easier to make fine adjustments mid-drift. Overall just a smoother experience. Nothing wrong with LDRC, I still think they are a great way to start out in the RWD drifting hobby for a cheap price.
