Wut up TnA!! Man congrats on the trout catches bro! Man that salt strong looks like the mirrolure Lil John XL . Well the profile anyway. Looks a little softer too. My wife actually throws the lil John’s and she freaking kills it every time! I’m abt to show her these and see what she thinks. I’m sure she will want to try it out. Thanks for sharing bro! And good job! That’s Showin em your stuff 🤟🏻
That’s exactly what I was thinking. They definitely have the profile of the lil John but a lot more movement to them. Plastic holds up well. Only used two lures entire trip. Give em a shot
Most game fish are reacting to any movement in water and are opportunistic in attacking anything in its surrounding area.. paddle tails, rat tails, are the common plastic bodies been around for years just colors have become the In thing with about any plastic. Custom colors are preference by anglers, but the tried and true basic colors have always caught fish. It’s all about confidence in colors and profile it’s like the flavor of the day 😂…if a fishing report says they are catching them on this particular bait and color then we all run to the tackle shop and grab that bait!!
Cant really disagree with ya and appreciate the feedback!! My preference is 1. Profile 2. Presentation and 3. Color. Color plays the least factor at least in my lure selection. I occasionally like to try different lures that are on the market to change things up and offer something different for myself and the viewers. Let them ultimately decide what they want to fish with. I follow fishing reports...not to focus on the details of it but in general what's biting and what areas then I can make my own determination of what I want to fish with at the time.
Dan I do agree. There's just not much can change from a proven lure such as paddle tail, plastic jerkbait or curl tail. I see all these inshore lures with all these appendages thinking to myself...what were they thinking. 😒

4 months ago I was catching trout in front of pita Island and it didn't matter color or style ... Just stating facts.

So many plastic lures these days… brands not much in innovation most look the same …
