What is the thread size on the hose?

I have a question...how large of a battery bank do you think you would need to efficiently run this overnight? As well, any input on how large a solar array needed to charge batteries in addition to running AC during the day? Something im learning about small scale solar (the hard way) is needing a large battery bank but also needing a large enough solar array to not only run items during the day but recharge what was used overnight, effectively needing to double a solar array.

Very clean install. One suggestion the battery ring terminals should be 5/16th the ones you installed are quite a bit larger than the stud. You will have a much better connection with the correct size.

How did you figure 2400 watts on 10 415 panels? Shouldn't it be 4150 watts?...... Thanks fir the video..... Jeff

Do you know if EG4 is going to import the DEYE DC 48V Air Conditioners?

Seems the 6k can handle the surge load and running load of the welder for at least some hobby work. I think I would need 2 to run my water furnace or a soft start.

Where you able to run the minisplit all night off that battery set up?

Get rid of the minisplit inverter board along with the Renogy inverter and run it direct off 24 volts. Much more efficient.

what about the amps? The amps on some solar panels are rated more than the unit. For example, a 400 w panel could be rated at 12amps and A 12 k btu solar ac my be rated at 7 amps. Would you still just hung it up or do you need to drop down to like 100w solar panel that have amps rated at like say 5, (hooking it all up in series, ofcourse! ) ? Have not seen anyone answer that question about these solar ac's. would some thing like this potentially damage the unit?

How long did you run the Unit with this config?

Your channel has been very helpful in getting my humble setup started. Currently running an EG4 12k in my primary bedroom connected directly to an Ecoflow Delta 2 Max which is charged by 2x Boviet 450W panels (got the idea from your "Can The Bluetti AC200L Power A Heat Pump? video). We're able to sleep in comfort all night without ever touching grid power. Thanks! Now we're looking to add a mini split to our main living space (~900sqft open concept). The EG4 12k is likely too small, but the EG4 24k doesn't seem like an option since I have zero experience/knowledge/confidence working with 220/240v. Is it possible to run the EG4/Ecosolaris 240v mini splits directly from an Ecoflow/Bluetti? If so, any chance you can make a video showing how to do so safely (including wiring)?

Is this battery best bang for the buck? I notice huge discrepency in pricing…what would your's have run if they hadn't comped it?

Can you do the AC limiter on heat mode like you show in your other video so if its cloudy out you don't run your batteries down? On that note can it run only when it's sunny out also, that would be cool? I'd like to supplement the furnace but not draw down my limited winter battery charging.

How can a company have 2 in stock.. sorry buddy but surely these are what is called house branded.. they are ordering them from China and China puts their name and logo on them.. they are obviously not making these in Canada in fact,, be very careful China isn't supposed to sell these in America. that I know of. least not without paying the tariffs..

How many amp hours were used, what's your battery capacity amp hour and... are you charging it mostly via grid power or solar array?

For ac I'm a fan for solar , using 12v truck ac systems , overall same as split units just no heat pump , for heat , less money to buy , install , as no need for expensive conversion to , 110 volts

Was hoping you would have shown how long the solar panels took to recharge the battery pack from 50%.

I guess we will see if the old idea of running a heat pump continuously is better or not. but it will be hard to compete with the cool night temps.

I work in hvac. I constantly ask everyone what the best equipment is. The normal answer is that they're all the same. A few people have gone on the record and recommended Rheem because of the electric spark igniter.

With that mini split you can limit the AC input to about a thousand Watts then it should run for about 1 hour at 1000 Watts after the inverter

I'm not an expert but the real only reason it's not advised is if the battery has an internal battery management system, the high amp draw upon start could get really high...100s of amps and the BMS might be fused or load protected for such high amperage. It's only for a short burst of time at high amperage so that's why it's possible to continue to use this battery for a given vehicle but not advised. However, I think a DIY 50ah (Amp Hour) or greater Lithium Ion battery pack *without a BMS* could used for the best possible alternative battery replacement.

I know you're not "supposed" to connect different 12v 100ah batteries in parallel but.... Supposed you have 3 regular batteries and 1 with low temp on it connected in parallel. The 1 battery having low temp should protect them all

I'm worried because everyone is praising Signature Solar and I went with Solar Guys Pro because that's who I first saw offering the solar package. I know it's been less than a week after the lonf 4th of july weekend, but I'm hoping to see some correspondence soon on my order.

I really like Rheem/Ruud, if one day I go crazy and start my own shop I plan to use them.
