Kelvin Marimbet narrates his experience participating in the IASTE program in Zurich, Switzerland
The International Association for the Exchange of Student for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is an international organization providing cutting edge work experience for students abroad through paid internships; Students take up internships for 8 weeks to 18 months.
Since inception in DeKUT, IAESTE has managed to send and receive students for international internships to and from countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Czech Republic, Malta and Spain, Poland, Sweden, India and many others. The technical and cultural experiences that the students have gained during their stay in the various countries help in their social and cultural integration as well as in enhancing their professional skills out of the internship experience.
Since inception in DeKUT, IAESTE has managed to send and receive students for international internships to and from countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Czech Republic, Malta and Spain, Poland, Sweden, India and many others. The technical and cultural experiences that the students have gained during their stay in the various countries help in their social and cultural integration as well as in enhancing their professional skills out of the internship experience.

We need Civil Engineers too as DeKut VCs ... I'm proud of my campus but not towards this perspective. The former Prof. Eng. Kioni was a Mechanical Eng. The now serving Eng. Peter is a Mech Eng. Why?
Why are all VCs in Dekut all mechanical Engineers? How will we be certain the other departments will be well represented? I'm just a concerned Civil Engineer graduate from DeKUT.
