The Style of Our Worship | Costi Hinn & Sovereign Grace Music | EP 212
Should a church turn the lights down, unleash the fog machine, and laser light the stage to help people have a more engaging worship experience? Does it matter if a worship service is presented in a trendy way? If creativity is a gift from God, should we limit how much we innovate when it comes to music and stylistic elements in a service? Does the Bible have principles we can use to govern the style of our worship services? These are important questions! In the third episode of our worship series with Sovereign Grace Music, we gain valuable wisdom on the style of a worship service.

Theology In Our Music | Costi Hinn & Sovereign Grace Music | EP 211
มุมมอง 8K19 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
It was John Piper who once said, "A congregation learns its theology by the songs they sing, not just by the preaching they hear.” Doctrine matters in our music, and it’s vital that churches and leaders think through more than just the sound of music, and ensure that the content of the music is biblically accurate. In this episode, Sovereign Grace Music leaders Bob Kauflin, Devon Kauflin, and D...

The Expression of Our Worship | Costi Hinn & Sovereign Grace Music | EP 210
มุมมอง 8K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
Expression in worship can often be relegated to the extremes of “emotionalism” or “stoicism.” Some argue that raising our hands in a worship service is nothing more than charismatic disorder, while others insist that if you don’t cry or shout during worship you’ve not entered the holy of holies. In part 1 of this series on worship, Bob Kauflin, Devon Kauflin, and David Zimmer of Sovereign Grace...

Thanks for listening

I love this video; amazing topic, amazing speech. You know, lots of good, Godly, helpful stuff. But could you make another solely on how to pray
Tongues that you call babbling is of God. You would have to really be baptized to understand put once you have been you won’t say it’s fake
Hymns = Theology.
I have a Jewish unsaved friend and he asked me do you know who has the most AV equipment? And I says this venue that place. He says… churches! 🤣
This was sooooo💯🔥🔥🔥🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥰
A heretic over here😮
I am Catholic ❤
How are your sins forgiven?
The wafer may represent Jesus, But It is Not Jesus.
Prosperty gospel preaching is exploiting people without giving back like education and health services . The Roman Catholics , Anglicans and Lutheran Churches are true Christian Churches teaching people.to catch.fish to eat but do not feed them with fish to eat.
This was really good and very helpful
The problem with "removed from KJV" is when one compares one English Translation to another. Most Biblical Students have an elementary knowledge of ancient Manuscripts. The 50+ Editors of the 1611 KJV referred to several English Bibles such as Tyndale's, Wycliffe's, Bishop's Bible, Geneva Bible, etc. 80-percent of the 1611/1769 KJV was/is adapted from the Wycliffe Edition (1382). The Greek Manuscript these Editors reviewed is called the Codex Basilensis which was obtained by Erasmus. This Codex comprises 8th through 15th Century Greek Manuscripts. In 1881, the Greek Scholars Westcott and Hort published a Greek Text NT based upon the Alexandrian Family Manuscripts which date as early as 300AD --- 500 years older than the so-called "Received Text" (which was the Codex Basilensis). The Revised Version of 1881 (English language; Oxford University Press, England) was published based upon the Alexandrian Manuscripts. The Revised Version inspired the American Standard Version of 1901. Therefore, when one says "Such-and-such was omitted" it reflects their elementary knowledge of Greek Manuscripts. Such "omissions" did not exist in the 300AD Manuscripts. Therefore, these "omissions" were not actually left out, they were INSERTED! Such as the Johannin Comma of 1John 5:7-8. This does not appear in ANY Greek Manuscript of the NT prior to the 14th Century nor does it appear in any other language NTs (Aramaic, Syriac, etc.) before the 12th Century. BOTTOM LINE: Those who compare English Versions with English Versions are bias or they are ignorant of Greek Manuscript history. PEOPLE NEED TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK!!!
❤❤❤
Amen! What version of the Bible do you prefer? ESV or is it NKJV? God bless you!
Remember that we all sinners, the homosexuals are also worthy of Christ forgiveness. Hate not love✝️
Its a classic case of having no context. If people all knew about the “Galilean wedding”, it would make sense. The disciples at the last supper all knew what a Galilean wedding was and understood Jesus’ analogy
Thank you, Costi. About 4 1/2 years ago, Jesus woke me up from my delusion. I was raised in church but always sort of wavered between easy-believism and trying to earn my salvation. I thought I was a Christian, but I had allowed sexual sin to dominate my life. I sank lower and lower, all the while attending church and believing God would forgive me because each time I sinned, I would mutter a quick "forgive me, lord" and be about my merry way until the next time that I felt like gratifying my flesh. There was never a desire to change. One day, I was discovered and for the first time in my life, I could see myself for who I truly was. A terrible man who only lived for himself. I was selfish, prideful, manipulative and many other things. I fell on my face. I had nowhere to go but to Him. I knew I couldn't save myself. I couldn't make myself change. I asked him to begin to change me. I asked for true repentance. He kicked down the doors of my heart. He made me hate my sin. He flooded me with grace. He put men in my life to help me with accountability. I started to see real change. There's still a lot of darkness in my heart and I am so aware of my sinfulness, but my heart is at rest when I remind myself of the Gospel because I know in Him I am set free. I have seen so much victory and I owe it all to Him.
So good 🔥 🔥
This episode is packed with wisdom! We’re so blessed to have these faithful men serving the Lord.
I’m confused. We are not supposed to hit or swat anyone as adults biblically. So why would we do that to our kids. Isn’t the rod a representation of gods authority. Did Jesus spank kids?
Thank you! Very helpful and encouraging to this pianist for our wee reformed baptist church in Montana!😊
Great conversation! Much needed discussion. Thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Religion used to kill them in the name of god, I know that if religion goes back to control everything they will do it again
Rightly divide if you don't know how.
Nowhere in the new testament are we commanded to build alters or church buildings.
Beware of ecumenicalism
2 verses stood out to me when I learned to rightly divide. Some believe themselves to be Jews but are not. And, Never mix law with grace or you will have neither.
Pentecostalism has been a lie from the very beginning. Catholicism also. I was shunned by Donnie Swagart because I said I had been being baptized in the Holy Spirit and didn't speak in tongues. He said i wasn't baptized in the Holy Spirit at all if i didn't speak in tongues. Well i googled the history of pentecostalism and that lead to rightly dividing.
Does nobody know how to rightly divide?
I ask those that say they speak in tongues, What's the difference between tongues and babbling and I never get an answer.
It wasn't in the speaking, it was in the hearing.
Thank you! @AC ENJOY!
AMEN
Costi you are so good on so many things, but you are wrong on this. Start with watching some Abolitionists Rising. It is wrong to vote for someone who is not willing to advocate for our most vulnerable neighbors, the pre-born.
No other heresy has done more harm to evangelical Christianity than dispensationalism. Sadly it grew out of the same time/movement that also gave us mormons and JW and 7th day adventist. It basis is error its result is evil. The genocide now happening in the Middle East is the direct result of dispensationalism and its many errors.
I really appreciate this video. It’s been so helpful in putting some things into perspective for me. I had an experience today that really highlighted the importance of discernment when it comes to what’s going on in a church. I was already aware of the dangers of the prosperity gospel, but I was completely caught off guard by the other extreme-legalism. I’ve been saved for seven years, but I’ve always been hesitant about going to churches. Today’s experience reminded me why it’s so important to be aware of both sides. This video has given me a lot of clarity, and I hope it helps others in the same way it helped me. Thank you for putting this together!
Truly the blind entertaining the blind! Christ spits on the mud because after Adam (who was made from the dust of the ground) sinned, the ground was cursed given the two were connected. Christ's tongue (spit) restores life to the cursed ground (Prov 15:4) which in turn, heals the man who didn't sin to cause his own blindness but was merely born under the curse. This was Christ's way of explaining a spiritual concept (via a physical demonstration) to answer the disciples' question- "who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" By healing the ground to heal the man, Christ was saying I am the revocation of the curse- I am the reconciliation between God and man which grants access to the Tree of Life (healing), from which man was formerly cut off.
Suicide can come from medical deformity
I'm furious when those white people who grew up in a comfy bubble talk about hardships and struggles in life.
All religion is built on myth.
Catholics deny the Grace of God and they are proud of that fact.
So people are just supposed to live in agony and deal with it just to make God happy huh?
Your teaching on this TULIP, is to brief, Jesus died for ALL, His Blood is NOT JUST fir the believer, T g one who do not accept the sacrifice will have the sacrifice judge them. P. once saved, we still have a free will and can walk away from Christ, THE GREAT APOSTASY, Some will fall away from the faith, You can't fall away from something you don't have. These people were once believers. They lost their Salvation They gave it up. Hebrews 6:4-7 Excerpt: it is impossible for those who were once enlightened I have tasted the Heavenly gift and have a company car takers of the Holy Spirit and have tasted the good word of God if they fall away to renew them again to repentance since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God and put him to open shame This plus many other scriptures teach that it is possible for a person to lose their salvation what do you think Paul meant when he said work out your salvation with fear and trembling he's not talking about salvation by works he's talking about doing due diligence to keep yourself in line with the word of God and not walk away. If you are going to teach you need to teach the full unadulterated word of God or you too as a teacher Pastor will be judged for false Doctrine I'm giving people a false hope that they have a license to continue in sin and still be saved
Love this
