I think a good use for this ever goods pouch, because it stands, is as a drop kit/toiletry kit for use when traveling. I use a standard alpaka tech pouch as a toiletry kit, and they work well in this use case. This evergoods pouch looks even better To be honest, hen you look at the bag makers who make these type of pouches and you look at the evergoods pouch and the modern fabrics. The £82 price tag is actually a reasonable price, however I do understand that this price does seem a lot.

I have the alpaka hub pouch as well as two of their tech pouches. However I have seen another brand that are making an almost identical pouch to the hub pouch in also xpac material. However the pouch I have seen seems even better designed than the hub pouch, I’m considering getting one just to see. Search for this to find it VIPERADE VE26 Small EDC Pouch Pocket Organiser (this is the xpac version - they also do none xpac for about £10 cheaper. They look a really good option Any thoughts?

It would make a nice tech pouch if the colour everyone probably wants (shown in video) was available, but not for £100… A little too steep for me. I’m culling a lot of my gear and trying not to spend so much on following the latest EDC trends. I’d rather have a small amount of well used gear than a wardrobe full of expensive EDC gear not getting used as much as it should be. I gave away a few knives as presents this past year.

Ive seen this bag reviewed in 2024, this was also a good review and it has its place during daily carry, but after a while you literally have to pull away, honestly how many bags can you buy, this ends up as an expensive hobby among many others 😂

Cap2 is a great pouch many uses.

Selling counterfeits at full price is purely criminal. There’s a large gap between producing counterfeits and knockoffs. Stealing the brand names/marketing while selling an inexpensive counterfeit has got a foot in both camps. Clones w/o the counterfeit are a bit less offensive to the consumer.

Your comment about the blade of your previous multi tool only sticking out a couple of inches is a bit daft, mate. I’ve seen the catastrophic damage a one inch blade has done to a man’s face, neck & head (a fellow British Army Veteran - we served together in the old West Germany. He passed away in 2010). Him and his missus were mugged whilst on hols in Chile. Because he fought back the muggers (5 of them) cut him bad using tiny knives they were hiding in clenched hands. Terribly scarred.

why a zippo out of interest? I feel as an edc carry they're far less practical as a result of them constantly drying out and needing to be refiled. different of course if use them daily, but otherwise you'll find when you need to use it, it'll be dry!
