    Is the one with scissors and all black blade part of the slim series? Or is it just the normal Ellis?

      It's part of the slim series but more bulky than the ones without the scissors. Still a nice slim profile though!

    Are you actually kidding me I literally just got a foldis because it was legal.🙄
    Where did you get your information on new knife laws regarding flipper knives? I would like to read it.

    • @TedHowells
      @TedHowells  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s just getting stupid isn’t it! These laws don’t stop the idiots that assault each other. They don’t even use pocket knives, they use kitchen knives and machetes 🙄
      Literally all over google, just search ‘flipper knife rules uk’

      @@TedHowells sorry Im struggling to find the pages you talk of in regards to flippers? I checked the gov site and there's no mention of flipper knives being illegal. Would you mind linking an article or page? I did Google what you put but I couldn't find anything

      @@themightychippy3756I also just checked .gov and there is no update regarding flippers. I can't find anything from the government on this. Just a lot of people reacting to another person reacting to etc

      For some time i thought that flippers are not legal the situation started because customs used a play on words to suggest they are like an automatically opened knife and a lot of shops have had massive amounts of stock confiscated and they scare monger you by saying if you want to take it to court you will be prosecuted but the fact is its a manually opened knife keyword manually not automatically opened its no different to the thumbstuds it is part of the blade not a device attachment another issue that is starting to rise is button lock and axis locks being taken and classed as gravity knives and as if all this isn't all misleading enough if you look into the legislation in small print this automatic opening rule has stated in Scotland and republic of Ireland so long story short if your arrested request legal aid for your interview its free a solicitor will attend your interview and the cps will not be able to authorise court proceedings you might of noticed such shops including heinie haines have started stocking flippers again most likely because they are able to source them now from places that do not have the strict attention of customs

      @@slipjointedcyeah ill take my chances in court, the police etc haven't got a fucking clue what the legislation says 99.9% of the time and will arrest you just because they don't like the look of something, i read the legislation myself, make sure my knife is legal by the legislation even if it's only just legal, and if they wan't to charge me there's plenty of solicitors willing to get you some compensation for the unlawful arrest lol

    Nice knife but comes with a cheap clip that bends really easily and can’t be replaced. Fell off my pocket within 5 months.

    • @TedHowells
      @TedHowells  ปีที่แล้ว

      The clips could be better and I'm not a fan of wire clips anyway generally but a proper clip on this would just make it feel weird and bulky I think
