Thanks for actually showing the knife in pocket and deploying it from pocket. Most reviewers just talk about he blade itself. I appreciated the focus on the sheath and how it works in pocket very much.
tip: if u really want a deep deep carry u could get (like i did) the DP Steelandleather sheath (German Company... but i would assume they ship to the USA) for the Böker Ak1, then u will only have the lanyard hole sticking out of youre pocket! Love to carry it like this!
Just got a few items from them including the lookout I just love there products I’ve got the tpt slide and mini bolt action pen, I’m in uk and there was no customs charge they came straight to the door no issues
Nice knife. Clicked the link and found it was a great price, however, I’m UK, and have never purchased anything from America, so how much would the customs fee be? Also, love your content, I’m new to EDC, so at the moment I’m gathering all the stuff you had shown in you previous vid about carry on friendly EDC, started with the pouch and SAK, really loving it so far. Thanks for the recommendations. Great vid👍
Honestly mate it’s such a great knife! I couldn’t tell you on the front of customs fees, it always varies so much depending on the product. This is worth it though 😉 Thanks man! Glad you’re enjoying it and finding it helpful 🤘🏼 if there’s anything you wanna see leave a comment and I might make the video ✌🏼
Why is the whole 'world' (on the web) talking about this manufacturer? It's quite simple: whoever sends out the most free stuff is the talk of the web. The manufacturer profits, the YT user profits, and the viewer and consumer follows the hype and orders the completely overpriced rubbish.
Having used both, I can't necessarily agree with the fixed blade being easier. I can very easily close and repocket a folder one handed without looking. Because, there's no point or edge exposed. With a fixed blade, I find that it usually takes two hands, one to raise the shirt and the other to pocket the knife. And I don't feel comfortable doing this without looking since now I DO have a point and an edge exposed. Deployment is marginally easier, but overall I don't really think the fixed blade offers any advantages in this regard. Strength and simplicity I agree with. But then again, it's a 2.2" blade so what uses are you putting ti work doing where a decent folder wouldn't also be plenty strong enough to accomplish? Don't get me wrong. I do like my EDC fixed blades. Just not sure there's a real rationale beyond it being perhaps a personal choice.

@@TedHowellsyeah thank you bud. Will do. 👍
It's a bold statement but I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this knife! What's your opinion on it?
I’ve never seen them for less than $200? Not sure where you could get it for $150
My bad, translating between GBP & USD gets confusing sometimes
@@TedHowellsAh ok! All good my friend. I actually have one of the USA made version on preorder.
