My family & I go to Monroeville mall all the time. I’ve never actually went inside the museum (it’s usually closed when we’re there). I didn’t realize it had so much to it. As far as the out of place movie items there, from what I could see in the video they are Pittsburgh related. Either they were filmed here or the writers are from here. I’ve been to the mall during dead weekend. Always a lot going on, I got to see Tom Savini & Adrienne Barbeau just hanging out.
That was AWESOME!!! NOTLD is my favorite film and I've always wanted to go and visit the cemetery and the Monroeville Mall for my love of Dawn. You're making me want to attend Cons now. 😂 Seeing you two having a blast just makes my day.
So far I’m enjoying this vid, I watched 15 minutes but once I get home I’ll watch the rest. I hope I can go to that cemetery someday, I love the night of the living dead. Thanks for this video.
Great video. Awesome con so many cool things and celebrities. The dead mall is awesome went there when we spent.5 days in Pittsburgh. We hit up over 10 different x changes as well. Like how they have it set up. An found alot of awesome stuff. Great job on the video
Really cool! I was there and had Martin Sheen sign my Dead Zone lobby card & Stillson for Senator campaign button prop repro. He was a great, talkative class act. Also got Shue to sign my All Valley Karate poster, and Weird Al to sign my 3-D CD. Great times!
That’s awesome!!! Martin Sheen was so darn nice. I retroactively wish I grabbed a photo with him as well but glad to have met him atleast. And that’s great you got a lobby card signed. Don’t see many mention lobby cards these days.
Watched every second and loved it! Glad to see you're as big of a fan of Romero and the Dead movies as I am. That was a fantastic museum. I was picturing the car rolling down the drive way at the cemetary as you pulled up there. Fantastic video Tim and April!
Thank you so much for watching the whole thing. We had an absolute blast during the weekend. Really looking forward to this weekend where we may hit up a couple more filming locations.
Absolutely awesome video man! I have never heard of Distant Thunder but it sounds good! Dude, Helen Hunt?! That is crazy. I've been wanting to meet Billy West for some time now. I remember getting that Simpsons book for Christmas back when I was a kid and Tom Cats isn't easy to find on Blu Ray!
Apologies if it was a timing issue, but Eide's in downtown Pittsburgh is hands down the best media store in the state. Keep it in mind if you get back that way.
I definitely plan to make it to Eides next time around. Just kinda ran out of time here, but it’s on the list for hopefully the April con. Really enjoyed my time out there so gotta make it back in 2025.
I live here and still haven't got a chance to get to Evans City Cemetery but do plan to do it right. For Monroeville Mall, that was my local mall growing up but it's still cool to see the familiar spots from the movie when I go. How did you like Steel City Con? Great video!

It was awesome to see you guys in line before the convention!
It was a pleasure…so cool getting to meet fellow collectors at this con. I’ll definitely be going back to this one.

Thanks Joe. Yeah we need to hit up more places next time we go back. There was tons we didn’t get around to due to time.

What a great trip y'all had! Thanks for sharing- that was fun.
Great video Tim! Didn't even feel like its over an hour long! 😀😄
I live near Pittsburgh and have sadly never been to steel city con. I always say I'm gonna go, but life always has a way to interrupt
It’s a super fun con if you get the chance to go to one. I can’t make the December most likely but planning to go back for the April one.
