Hi, i’m a british fan collector.
This channel is dedicated to fan content and any sort of video revolved around fans. This will involve any fans that were available in england (the country that I am from) as it makes it easier and cheaper to obtain (international shipping is just too expensive).
Also if you want to request a video to do any of my fans then just comment on any recently uploaded video of mine and i’ll make note of it. (I do read every comment that youtube notifies me about).
My upload schedule is all over the place at the moment due to not having much time for filming.

Both 90 years old, the freezor (right) is the older of the two. Both are beautiful fans and run decently however the magnet (left) does shake quite a bit while running

What lens is in the long one in the leather case? It looks really cool
@sirgurt1938 Honestly I cannot remember off the top of my head. I'll have to try and find it since it is buried somewhere in the piles of stuff
I never thought I would find this fan on the youtube. I have the one on the right. Since 1976 it still works flawlessly!
@telosfd They are some brilliant fans that last a long time (shame that the grills can go brittle). They are rare fans and they don't appear up for sale often so that's probably why there isn't much sight of them on youtube.
The GE & the limit 12” would be a good comparison

My area has Super fans and they also rattle too
@@Dmoney64467 I do believe super rebranded a lot of smc fans so it makes sense
Nice job mate. Im still trying to find a way to get spacer rings as most of my fans have a bit too much of shaft play.

I don't think they are SMC fans. The maxim is built similarly to the TH (Like the motor is almost identical and the info sticker is done the same way). For the newlec the motor doesn't appear to be produced by SMC but I am really not sure which manufacturer did produce it. So overall I am guessing the maxim is made by the same factory as the TH (just made much later than the TH) and I have no clue who made the newlec.

@ondo_dev Glad you like it. While I don't own any box fans common in north America. I do own a different type of box fan that did make an appearance later on!

That part that you turned, it's stuck in my fan, any idea on how to fix it?
@asmasm9372 This is an issue I have never encountered before so i'll try my best to give a solution. I would say if you can double check that you are turning the part the correct way and check for any other dials (excluding the one at the back of the fan) to make sure it doesn't use another method of height adjustment. If you have any, use some pliers that can get around the twisty part to help undo it. Spraying some WD-40 in that twisty part may help release it. Use rubber gloves for extra grip as well.
My cool branded one arrived today and it is the exact same just not original blades
@SmcCollector Just watched the video on it. That rattle is easy fix since it is only the grill causing it. It is practically a desk version of my cool pedestsl fan. Also it could be interesting to see if you could get and identical blade set to the original

I am getting a 12 inch desk version and it seems to be from 2002

careful of the blade pitch and power use.. Make sure it matches the base plate, i believe these are rated around 50-60W, so the motor might be working a little hard there. I think the spindown should be a little longer so could do with a drop of oil.
@michaelflat2790 Alright i'll have to keep a watch on it. Spindown isn't particularly great on this but it was worse when I got it. I'll see what I can do when I have more free time
