The early 90s are officially vintage btw and to me as a fan collector, earlier SMCs are interesting.
@LiftEnthusiast2020OFFTOPIC I remember somewhere there was a debate on what is considered vintage. While I am still on the fence about early 90s being vintage I guess i'll go along with it

On my T8 fans they have no pin cover on the plug
They added pin covers sometime in the 80s so if those plugs are original, then they're 80s fans
