There are many recalls of them. But the ones recalled were almost always plastic ones. Although it does say this one has a safety feature that automatically cuts the heating element off when there is a big issue with it. Although I don't really use a heater myself.
@@Connectitthefancollector I mean, hes got a point. Even these older heaters are a bit more of a hazard. Ive heard our heaters werent as well made as some others such as american or european heaters.
It's not really for use, he's got it for his collection and I suppose you can look at it as a piece of history. Yes probably not safe to use as a main heater but it's a cool thing to have. Personally I don't like fan heaters as I find they dry out the air but these retro ones are definitely cool to look at.
I know the brand Morphy Richards, I had a fan that they made but it wasn't in good condition mechanically so I chucked it, I have some fan videos over on my channel so feel free to check that out, I just subscribed by the way.
@Wattmaster2401 Was yours a desk fan or fan heater? Unfortunate to hear it was chucked. Also thank you for subscribing. Also just had a look and you certainly have some nice looking fans in your collection
God a proper metal heater. Love it. all for a five is an a deal of its own.
Yeah we don't see proper metal heaters anymore. It is one brilliant little fan. Glad it didn't cost much
Even though I own a fan heater myself, I never run it on the heater setting as many heaters are recalled for catching fire.
