Back in 2005, I bought a brand new Honda minivan EX. Afew weeks after, I found the color of the bumper and the body is not exactly the same. Honda said this is normal because of different base material. Bumper is plastic, body is metal. Did not make sense to me. Honda refused to fix. Back in 2011, I got transmission issues. Honda quoted 2,700 to replace the unit. I brought it to a small carshop, they flushed the transmission, cost 160. Honda told me this kind of fixing will last 3 months only and then problem will come back. In reality, the CRV still running to date.

I'm 5'2" and can lay down in the back cargo area with only a few inches to spare for a small pillow. Taller folks would need an extension platform built in the back seat leg area to make the length of the cargo area doable sleeping in.

do you think a twin size mattress would fit in there

I'm thinking of buying a CR-V, but I wonder if the cargo floor, raised, would hold my 200lbs without caving in.

I traded my 2021 CRV for a 2023 model 6 I failed to realise that the newer model has done away with this option, I was really pissed. The Mk5 CRV is by far the best and most practical CRV I have owned all the model years since it was on the market, the Mk6 is definitely smaller despite the stats stating otherwise, also the rear bench seats are higher so if you have tall rear passengers their heads will be closer to the roof liner, my son is 6'3 and he said the new CRV is less comfortable to travel in as a passenger. Other issues with the New CRV that the previous mk5 never had but that's a story for another day.

I also bought an upper position tray, as it's bigger and allows more usable space when seats are up (for dog), but haven't figured out how to stow it when seats are down flat. Guess just leave it in place....

At 2:57, he takes out the cargo tray. He never showed where to put it if you're going to sleep overnight. Can it possibly be stored under the raised floor?

Cut a section out of the center of the plywood and place a piece of acrylic as a panel if you want to see through it.

Regarding a dead power outlet - I'd check the fuse again and see if it is blown (if blown, you can see a "break" in the metal sealed in the plastic). I would suspect that if the new fuse is blown, you have a direct short in your socket. Possibly caused by excessive heat, or physical damage to the socket itself. Any damaged could have been caused by inserting the plug. My port in my SUV also blown, due to physical damage causing a direct short within the socket (easily checked with a multi-meter). Cheap to replace, but a real bugger to get too! Have to disassemble the dash to get it out. Check TH-cam for any socket replacement videos.

I’m having the exact same issue it started a month ago. I have a 2016 CRV. Since it’s getting cooler out now and the AC works great for the first 20 minutes that it’s on I haven’t taken it in yet. Not sure if I should get it fixed now or wait until spring….thanks for the video.🙏🏼

Socket in my 2017 touring stopped working then returned. Suggestion did you find socket to tight when inserting zinger plug that might have done it. I’ve learned don’t force plugs into sockets. It might return if you juggle plugs in the future.

Just don't slam on your breaks when you go through the tunnel. Every out of stater does, and it causes backups for us locals.

My 2018 ( bought new ) - A/C just started to blow hot air . Reading through the comments I think my local mechanic is my best option - paying $480 for a free seal Crazy rip off .

I have a 2014 Honda CRV. I've tried the bed idea. There is no way I can get 72 inches of length. My back seats go down 60-40. The middle section does not go down. Yes, I put the front seat all the way forward. I marvel at folks who accomplish this seemingly (for me) impossible feat.

a lot of room for car camping! I have been debating between Sportage, Rav 4, and CR-V. Sucks that you need to buy the highest trim for this car to have the smart cruise control and highway driving assist.

Yes, running AC/heat in camp or pet mode is a HUGE plus.....one of the main reasons I am considering this vehicle

Can a 6.2 feet person fit comfortably in your bed? Wish you could of talked about height or just busted kut a tape measure to show how long the bed is and how tall can a person fit. Very few people do that. Inwas considering getting CR-V 2010- 2013 and wonder if my 6.2 body would get to sleep comfortably there like you have it or wound need to sleep like across more in an angle from one side to other side

Bottom line, we are paying the insurance of the Non-insured - Rather stinks. Another example of where the system gets it wrong. People break the law by being uninsured, and accountability and rules are unenforced. If they have devices that prevent drunks for starting their cars, there should be a device (card swipe) to show insurance is in effect. Think of all the money, lives, and hassles that would be saved.
