Demolishing a Deck with a Mini Excavator
มุมมอง 3.3K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here is some footage from 2022 of me demolishing my back deck due to constant wasp infestations (as well as other animals). The deck was old, splintering and constantly harboring wasps every year. It was also too small to properly setup with a table, chairs and grill. So the plan was (is) to convert the space to a patio, but I have yet to get the time so I figured I'd at least put out the demo ...

Spreading Driveway Base and Building a Rock Wall with a Tilt Rotator
มุมมอง 21K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here I return to my family friend's place to improve the driveway entrance and access to the newly built home entrance I dug the footings for last year with the E42. I also repurpose the rocks I scraped out of the area into a rock wall using the CMP grapple and then dig a swale in the back to redirect roof water away from the house. Getting a Steelwrist Tilt Rotator for the E50
มุมมอง 18K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
I finally did it. I got a Tilt Rotator for the E50! This attachment is going to make jobs more efficient, easier and fun! I went with a Steel Wrist as it is supported by my Bobcat dealer along with having a good local support network. In this video I test it out with a bucket, ripper and a CMP NRG82 Grapple as well as going through the computer options of the Steel Wrist. Equipment Used: Excava...
Fixing a Gravel Driveway with Standing Water
มุมมอง 62K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here I improve a gravel driveway as best as possible to deal with standing water by the client's house and parking spots. Due to how the neighbor's driveway, easement and house is set, there was a lot of water making it down the center of this client's driveway and sitting near his house. Unfortunately, there were not too many good options to eliminate how water was getting down to and sitting ...
Building a Retaining Wall Granite Staircase
มุมมอง 16K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here I return to my parents to improve the beach access from their patio. The access was already steep prior to the renovations, but the extension of the patio made it worse, so we devised a basic design for a retaining wall with inset granite steps to make the access easier and safer. Techo bloc semma gray was used for the walls and techo bloc blu 60 for the walkway and patio. Equipment Used: ...

Land Clearing with a Skid Steer & Grapple
The drain pipe not barried deep enough. The driveway has to be somewhat higher than the road so all the water goes to the road etc.. for me was aggregating to watch this video.
This guy does some great ass work! That yard is brand new once they lay down some grass and flowers. Great work 👏 👍 👌
Excellent job, NC USA 🇺🇸
That corner post on the deck looks insufficient for the load. Plus it looks bowed. Would suggest to homeowner to beef that support up.
I can't believe you left that eye sore of a dead tree. It diminishes the job.
What made you stop using the CMP and go with another grapple ? I’m debating on the CMP myself
All you did with all those rocks was make a weed bed, They are hard to keep clean, the brush will be growing there within 2 years briars honeysuckle saplings poison ivy and so on
Out of fuel, not gas.lol😊
I love your channel. You guys obviously have skills, know-how and experience but you don't clutter your videos with excessive talking, like-subscribe-ring-the-bell boilerplate, advertising and product placement. Like Andrew Camarata's channel you let the videos document themselves and you show us the whole project. Thanks!
I may have missed it in the commentary but is that like 56 stone for the base and some kind of 3/8 mix under the pavers?
Yeah, its a 3/4" clean crushed stone for the base and 3/8" clean crushed stone for the screeded bed
I was about to buy an E40 or E48 because I thought that the E35 won’t be capable for this kind of jobs, but seeing the work that you are doing with the E26 made me change of mind. I think the E35 will be the best option for me. Thanks!
Man I can't believe this customer didn't know anyone that would have scooped up that wood.... Nice machine work operator 😊
That is an amazing backyard transformation... Great work! What a difference. That homeowner now has a non-muddy area to recreate. You do such incredible work!
Fun to watch this transformation, amazing to see how you use that machinery like a pair of hands, amazing.
Those are the best millings I have seen. Mind if I ask what they cost per load?
I believe they are only around $10 / ton + delivery
Regardless of whether it worked or not, it killed me to see organic matter be pulled into the original base when it could have been pulled away from the base.

New to your channel, really have enjoyed them. Your a very skilled equipment operator that does great work. My only complaint with this channel is the background music.....man it sucks!! 😂😂
Enjoyed the video. Will putting all the dirt around the remaining trees not have an adverse effect on them??
What is that attachment you used on the stumps called? Its awesome
Its an MTL SkidSteer stump grinder
I see that Stilwrist tiltrotator was installed on the machine. What was the price tag? It’s a great attachment. But pricy I heard.
Yep! It was about $45k installed with the grabber, ripper, digging bucket and grading bucket.
Horrible music
Thanks!
how thick should the top soil be for the seeds?do you have to put on straw to cover seeds?
Great job
The owner can get buried there and the people can use the steps to visit them in the afterlife.
Excellent! Had to subscribe!👏👏👏👍🤩😊
Good work but everything that was done here made this backyard worse.. kids going to have a rock wall to fall down now
I discussed that with the parents prior. They were fine with it as, and they ended up fencing in the backyard anyways.
Nice vid…weird choice of music tho.
Looks like it needs MUCH MORE, looks better but I wouldn't be satisfied with even that slope
This was the max I could do with their budget. They were happy so I was happy.
What a transformation! Quality stuff!
How long til it washes down the hill?
Really great video here! The mix of live shots, timelapses and music overlays is fantastic... I look forward to watching more of your content!
Very nice would love to see it grown. Thanks
Ditto…ya e too. Hope the two machines were enough weight for compaction of 6 feet
I just started watching...new sub....and your editing is awesome. Looking forward to more videos. PS: Your one hell of a one man show.
Thank you!
GOOD fences make good neighbors, broken down piles of rocks called a fence, do not. The neighbor owes you...... imho
why the heck would u grind them stumps if they are under 6 feet of dirt.... u need to use a breaker bar to tighten up those teeth on the stump grinder....wtf was that lol
I could use one of those excavators on my 5 acres! Lol
Always wanted to see a hard rainfall on a finished driveway of the caliper
Definitely a few hrs. experience wicked job
Does it really say "live free or die" on New Hampshire plates ?!
Yup!
Perfect site for a swimming pool, 6 feet deep and you only needed to dig out another 2 feet and the pipe work and electric cables for a beautiful swimming pool and deck area.
Great job!👍👍 always enjoy watching an expert making it look easy.
Im surprised their water line isnt deeper or doesnt have foam board insulation over top of it. Im in maine and we can easily have frozen water lines here
Yeah, the house was built in the 60s, so that is likely why. The waterline pipe I hit isnt even manufactured anymore
Looks great 👍
Thanks!
What tiltrotor are you using?
From the description: Tilt Rotator: Steel Wrist X06 S40 with Integrated Grab & S40 Quick Coupler
Please come to Pennsylvania to prep my yard for renovation 😀 That landscape rake is badass.
What’s the weight of the SteelWrist?
it's a x06 model which is around 350 pounds
If the owners can afford that home in NH then surely the could afford a steel sea wall to be put in before your work portion. Would have made more sense. Other than that, Great Work.
Haha they are a wealthy family, but only want to spend what is necessary 🤷♂️
That dog has a death wish.. 😂
Haha, he just doesn't have much between the ears sometimes :)
An instance where the yard looks better than the actual house.. 🤪
