Hey that came out nice, hopefully when they address the chimney issue there water problems are over, people just don`t realize how much water comes off of your roof and down the gutter system all around the foundation, tying those gutters in and getting it away from the foundation is key, well done sir, it looks great.
Never been a fan of ADS pipe for around footings and foundations. I see you used the 3034 sewer pipe for your tightline. Your pipe choice is a testiment of the quality of work you produce. My thought if you are going to dig a hole, put a good crushproof pipe in it, then when you backfill it you will never have to dig it up again. When the house was built they probably saved $100 in the use of cheap pipe which cost them thousands later to fix. Great vid, enjoyed it. Steve
Yeah, ADS can be good for certain applications but definitely is not worth what you "save" when doing big projects such as foundations vs a surface french drain.
Glad to see the Kubota is still useful for your landscaping work. Thought you might have totally outgrown it with the bigger jobs and equipment you’re now running. Job came out nice, though I wouldn’t count on that grass germinating soon. An old landscaper I once knew told me grass won’t germinate until the soil temp is 70 F or higher.
Thanks! Yeah, it comes in handy for a lot of the small jobs. I use it quite a bit, just always too lazy to film the smaller stuff sometimes. It should hopefully germinate in the next few weeks, once soil temps get to the 50s.
Usually when digging along a foundation we would back the tractor up to the wall at a near 90 degree angle. That way you could use both outriggers and dig closer to the wall
Great channel. I was wondering if you considered using a leaf filter in the down spouts to keep organic material out of the drain? May be over kill but you have grates at the end of you pipes?
We had our water filter drain into a dry well in the backyard. A section of the pipe sagged from the ground settling. It held water and froze. The next time it back flushed it pretty much flooded the basement.
Im surprised their water line isnt deeper or doesnt have foam board insulation over top of it. Im in maine and we can easily have frozen water lines here
I love our E50. It always exceeds expectations and now with the SteelWrist on it, I rarely want to use any of my other machines! I can definitely recommend it!
you can weld a plate to a couple of teeth to turn your tooth bucket in to a more services friendly tool. easily removed to go back to teeth for the nasty ground
It’s one thing to own your business but to be your own business is BOSS mentality #inspired
Enjoy your video do the same type of work and it’s nice to know I ain’t the only one that dig stuff up
Like your tutorial videos. Hopefully you’ll continue to post more.

Are you worried at all that the discharge from the water softener might kill the grass because of salt content?

Yeah, the house was built in the 60s, so that is likely why. The waterline pipe I hit isnt even manufactured anymore
Whats the straw for on top of the grass seed?
How do you guys like your E50 R2? Im looking at buying one.

My question to you is why you didn't use a trench compactor ?
Later you'll wish you did
