Council Updates
Schrinner Councillor completes hundreds of small maintenance jobs weekly, sometimes they have the biggest impact too, here are some examples below-
- Dempster Street, Toowong - new stop sign installed.
- Moggill Road (out the front Brisbane Boys College), Toowong - series of potholes have been filled, and the road resurfaced.
- High Street, Toowong - closed bus stop, old signage infrastructure has now been removed.
- Perrin Dog Off Leash Area, Toowong - trip hazards filled and levelled.
- Riverview Terrace - trees/hedges trimmed back on footpath to assist line of sight for drivers.
Perrin Dog Off Leash Area, Toowong update!
After several weeks of feedback I’m excited to announce that Option 1 was the most popular choice. This design will certainly enhance our much loved dog off leash area. Thank you your input has been heard. The design plan is now with BCC team for implementation. I’ll keep you updated on when works will be scheduled to begin.

Indooroopilly Library Gold Stars and Little Stars Awards Ceremony
On Wednesday, I was pleased to award the members in the Gold Star and Little Stars Reading Club program with a medallion and certificate for completing their 6 weeks of reading!
As a previous primary school teacher, I understand the essentials of literary for early childhood education and social development as it provides young children with meaningful connections that help them engage. This program plays a vital role in encouraging children to get involved in recreational reading and reward them for their efforts.
DID YOU KNOW? This year so far, we have had 2381 children register for Gold Star and 2354 register for Little Stars, bringing total registrations to around 4,735!
