Thanks again. Great memories! You are going above and beyond by dealing with the wasps!
Man, that jungle is thick.
It sure is!!
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
One of the better ones. Thanks Sammy
Thanks for watching.
Good work Sammy you need some spray for the avispa. Especially if you do this alone cuidate
Yep going to buy some if I can find a small bottle.
Thank you so much for that walk down memory lane, Sammy. I so appreciate it. God bless you!
Thanks for watching.
Wow! Green and pink tile! Wonder what the red ribbon means outside?
That red ribbon were markings of the company that was contracted to restore the houses.
Hi Sammy! How do you keep mosquitoes away from you? Are you immune?
What streets did officers live on ???
Its a wide area after the bay.
Thank you sir. Awesome video and I remember my days there very well. Semper Fi
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching.
Thanks Sammy
Any time!
Another nice job, Sammy!
Thank you!
Awesome thank you
Thanks for watching.
2:30 - is this 10 Cabot Drive? I lived here when my dad was stationed in RR from 1970-74. Thank you for documenting this neighborhood, it brings back such great memories.
Yes that is Cabot Drive!
Thank you Sammy, ur the best!!
Thank you for watching.
Hi Sammy, my name is Retire Sergeant Major George McNeil US Army, my family and I used to live on 33 Lexington Rd. if you can find some time in your schedule, could you please show us that house, we used to live there from 1996 to 1999
Hi sir, thanks for reaching out. I have it on my list and will cover it soon. Thank you for watching the videos.
Awesome! There were always bats in the movie theater when I was a kid. lol memories
Yes and there are many of them still all around.
Cool
Thanks for watching.
What year were these barracks built ? Also location ?
Not sure when they were built. Location for these is before the NEX complex.
Thank you Sammy for showing this❤️ So many memories! My dad was stationed there from 1969-1973. I went to school there, K-3rd grade. Only difference was when I lived there, we didn't have an enclosed porch. We had a small brick wall around the patio. There was a palm tree right at the beginning of the hill that you have shown. My brother and I used to climb that. On the downside of the hill there used to be a banana tree separating our house from the next one. Hancock sat on a very steep road and my dad built a go-cart and we used to ride down to the end. Again Thank You so much for showing this!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I am glad it brought back some good memories. Thank you for watching.
Papi the government of Puerto Rico is a piece of 💩 the stupid people who wanted this beautiful base closed.
Thank you so much for making this video. I have so many memories there from when I was a kid. My late father used to take us kids to the old Baskin-Robbins and the cafeteria all the time. Again, thank you for all the work you do. Seeing the one place that brings so many good memories after all these years is bittersweet. After four years, I miss him more than ever.
Thank you for watching. Great to know it brought back good memories and sorry for your loss.
Can you do a video of the old PX? I have so many memories there from when I was a kid. My late father used to take us to the old Baskin-Robbins and the cafeteria all the time. Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi, not sure if that old building is still there do you remember the general location?
@@spvideo68 Sorry, I meant to say the NEX. But no worries, I saw your video of the NEX. I was in tears watching it. Thank you!
My grandfather worked in that plant back in the 50's My dad was very happy for the video it did bring him so many memories when he lived in the base as a kid. Thank you so much for sharing God bless you!
Thank you for watching I am glad your dad liked the video.
I lived in 8 Hancock Circle years after being born in 25 Ranger. It was on the Cul-de-sac and we played soccer, baseball, etc. all the time with the neighbors kids. We would collect a pail full of hermit crabs on our walk down to the beach and release them down there. Also had big crabs invade the house and yard. And drank from the coconuts on our palm tree on the corner. We had a view of the ocean. It was beautiful. Best of times!
Oh I remember the hermit crabs! They used to hide in the bushes and us kids would go and play with them. Also the lizards. We would pick them up and they would drop their tails. I loved playing on the black sand on the beach behind our house!!!
Cool thanks for watching and sharing.
Nice! Our second house was on Hancock, but I can't remember the number!!! It was pink, and the front of the house was looking away from the road and kind of deep into the "mangle" of water. Tons of crabs during mating season! 😮 But our best memories were on Anzio Ln! Thanks again, Sammy!
Thank you for watching.
thenh you Sammy.
Thanks for watching.
Nice job, Sammy!
Thanks.
Looks pretty good compared to others.
Sure does.
That one was super creepy to me! Maybe because the shades were all closed?
Yes and all the houses are very close so the overgrown makes it darker.
Thanks bud.
Thank you for the continued support.
Thanks, Sammy!
Thank you for watching.
Esa casa está bien, limpieza pintura y mudanza waoooo que gobierno deja algo asi
Asi es!
I remember taking my dog there in 91
Cool, Thanks for watching.
Urban jungle!! 😮
Absolutely!
This house seems bigger than most! Thanks for sharing! 🙂🇵🇷
It dis to me as well! Thanks for watching.
I miss living on the base when I was a kid. It was such an amazing place to live at. I wish I could take my parents back there so they could see what it has become. Sadly, both passed away last year. My dad was in the Coast Guard and my mom worked at the Day Care Center. It was amazing!
Sad for there passing, thanks for supporting the channel.
Good job, Sammy!
Thank you!
Great video, Sammy. A lot of emotion. I hope when you get to 10 Hornet Road I see the dents in the bathroom louvers!
That would be interesting because they may have changed rhe window to glass!
Once again, thanks for the videos. They are both sad and heartwarming. So many memories. We lived at the other end of Cabot Drive.
Thank you for watching.
@@spvideo68 i have watched them all. some more than once :)
That was great. Thanks for Sammy!! Would love the opportunity to do that one day, but would be very emotional to experience. Spent 1972-1976 in 80 Lexington.
For sure it would be an emotional ride. Thanks for watching.
It's a special moment..thank you for sharing
Thank you for your continued support.
What a great video with Alex and Liam. Thank you Sammy. I wish we could have hooked up with you last month to do something similar, but maybe we will make it back one day. I know it must've been such a great experience for Alex. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Tony, hope you do make it back some day.
Love this video. Great day for this family
Absolutely great for sure! Thanks for watching.
I rented a house offbase at urbinas jardines in ceiba. I would probably have some tears if I was able to walk through that house again.
Cool, thanks for watching.
My friend lived there in the middle to late 60s and I've been in the house! How strange to see central HVAC and smoke detectors installed. And how cool it is for a former resident to come back with his son - I'm sure there were lots of emotions during their visit.
Yes they got retrofitted quite often.
This is so special. 😅
My father is turning 70 this year. He has been retired since 2000. It would mean the world to him if you can film 32 York town circle. Please it would make his birthday extra memorable. Thank you amazing Videos!
Its on my list to do since it was requested. Thanks for watching. I am sure your dad will be very happy indeed.
@@spvideo68 awesome thank you so much!!!
How did y'all get back there? By foot, bike? Thanks for sharing
❤
We walked! Thanks for watching.
@@spvideo68 if you don't mind me asking is there more than one entrance to get back there because we went and went in from the school/ near Lexington Dr where we had lived
