Beach Fishing Strategies that work Day and Night | You SHOULD Try !
When beach fishing the majority of anglers do not burley up or when they burley up the do it inconsistently. Also some anglers that fish the ocean beach aftern dark may shine their powerful head torches into the hole/gutter that their fishing. This is a couple of do's and dont's that I am showing in this video. Apart from that always out searching, investigating and finding out whats happening. Also fishing in relativelly flat sea conditions and a run out towards the low tide period.
Let me know what you think😁 Hope you enjoy it 👌

Kingfish Super Hard To land
มุมมอง 7K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Kingfish are without doubt close to my very favourite species. The vast majority of times you encounter kingfish there close to some nasty structure that can easiely sever your leader or braid. This time I was fishing a sizable swell of about 1.5m, shower, rain conditions and by myself which made it that much harder. Apart from that I knew it was going to be dam hard to land this fish. Snapper On Soft Plastic off The Rocks | This Lure Really Works!! !#snapper #fishing #lurefishing
มุมมอง 7K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Soft plastics for snapper is not new for the boat angler. Fishing off Sydney NSW rocks its pretty uncommon for anglers to target them on lures. Vast majority of snapper anglers using bait. The soft plastics I have been using have worked really well catching snapper from just over the legal 30cm to quality 50cm fish. Adding another method to fishing for this great species off the ocean rocks. I ...
Rock Blackfish | Do The Best You Can On The Day

It only takes one good fish to make your day. For me I never get bored with catching the powerful, pugnacious rock blackfish AKA black drummer or pig as they are also known as. You sometimes need to get right into the dangerous rock fishing spots where they live. On this outing it was not about quantity was about the adventure of fishing on this outing right on the door step of the beautiful Sy...
Beach Whiting and Bream Strategies That Work
มุมมอง 28K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Often when you go for a beach fishing trip in Sydney you need to check out how crowded it may be, swimmers, surfers and of course fish the right gutters so you are in for a reasonably good chance to get a result. But what a lot of anglers overlook is the beach that your fishing could have a lot or a fair bit of weed of variable types like kelp, ribbon or the several varieties of reef weeds. Tak...
Saving A Yellow - Bellied Sea Snake in Sydney
มุมมอง 2.8K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
Sea snakes are very rare in Sydney Australia. This one hitched a ride on the great east coast current from the northern part of Australia. They can be very deadly if they manage bite soft tissue. This Yellow Bellied Sea Snake was stranded on one of the local beaches in the northern suburbs of Sydney NSW Australia. it was not looking real good. I could not release it back into the ocean where it...

Snapper Fishing In REALLY DIFFICULT TERRAIN!
มุมมอง 9Kปีที่แล้ว
Distance casting off the rocks for snapper can be as easy as just casting out to the sand without too much structure in front of your ledge/boulder or fishing some of the more radical spots with multiple submerged ledges and ledges that are slightly above the water line and submerged boulders making it nearly as radical distance casting spot that you you would ever fish. Managed to get a great ...
Huge Blue Groper landed within minutes !
มุมมอง 10Kปีที่แล้ว
Winter time is often flatter seas time as well. The Eastern Blue Groper is a residental species but most often fished for in the winter months. They can be caught every month f the year but generally targeted in the cooler months. I hooked this big blue of 10-11kg which took a decent run. The running ball sinker slid up the line and over the FG and leader join. When I tried to wind back the las...
Great TIPS | Beach Whiting Fishing
มุมมอง 44Kปีที่แล้ว
Fishing for beach whiting on the east coast of Australia is generally from November to May. But that is not necessarly true. I fish for whiting till around mid July. It may seem a bit unusual as the atmosphere temperature is cold but the water temp is still warm enough for whiting. This can vary from year to year. In this video I am using an Alvey set up. There are some baic tips I will show yo...
COBIA | RARE to Catch off Sydney Rock! Unexpected Catch
มุมมอง 12Kปีที่แล้ว
I thought ok this is going to be one of those failed film shoots. Then this came along, the unexpected catch! Been waiting for this for years off Sydney rocks. Ok I can head north a few hundred km and at the right time f the year nail one and perhaps a lot bigger. But for the angler that fishes this part of the coast it is pretty rare for the rock fisherman to nail a cobra. #cobia #rockfishing ...

No description Alex , will it come late
Hi mate yes i have the description in there now my apologies 😁
great content in your videos Alex , can i request that you post the set-up you use on the sessions you fish that would be great
Hi Rob My apologies. I have just uploaded the rod-reel and line. Cheers
100% right about beach currents. Only recently I had a Shovelnose shark swim past my feet in knee deep water 150 metres from people fishing. I was spinning. A few summers ago I actually stood on a small Stingray nosing up current to fishermen.
The shovel nose shark would have been fine but the sting ray Ouch!! If it spined you!! Thanks for watching Cheers
Great advice ,,, beach fishing can be complicated,,,, shovel hose sharks seem easy to fillet
Thanks much appreciated👍 Yes beach fishing has so many variables can be complex
Awesome video. Where can I buy the prawns for the drummer bait?
Thanks for watching much appreciated mate and if yoy can please share my channel You can buy prawns at Coles or Woolworths and at a decent price. King, endeavour or banana prawns Cheers
Absolutely love your videos Alex, thank you for sharing your vast knowledge of what is one of the few simple pleasures left in a complicated and messed up world.
Thanks heaps Matt much appreciated👍 Beach fishing is a great way to go on a mini holiday 😄
always see you doing the work on the beaches, top job sir !
I just always want to put in the effort whatever type of fishing i do Cheers mate 😀
The good set of scizzors is practical. Listen carefully folks no body does it better. the salmon comment gives a true perspective. could comment more but wont go that trajic. thanks
Thanks appreciate your comment cheers
No, there is no such thing as 'freak waves', just bigger sets. And that is a terribly unsafe place to rock fish. Where is all the water coming onto the platform going .... right, straight back out to sea. And that will include you in it if you get caught. Look for a large FLAT rock shelf where the water flows across the shelf losing energy and then drains out the back of it. These places may be wet as a larger wave hitting the rock face spraying water straight up and lands on you, but the worst that can happen is you get washed backward across the shelf and lose a bit of 'bark'. And your escape route should be where do you get back out of the water if washed in. Is there a sand beach around the corner or a relatively calm bay, or is it just vertical rock face in both directions as far as the eye can see (bad, VERY bad). Dress appropriately expecting to swim in what you are wearing. You are going to die in waders or overalls and gum boots if you do go in.
Terribly unsafe to rock fish that depends on your pionon At this location Swell energy breaks down because it breaks into foam loosing energy substantially. thans for your message
Great video Alex, going out later today/ night , only getting salmon down here on the south coast. There in huge schools everywhere !!
thanks heaps mate. Salmon are a great species 'cut my teeth' on beach salmon👌
Shot bro awesome video. 👍🏽👍🏽👌🏾
thanks mate Just a few basic to intermediate tips for beach fishing.
I love eating salmon and why not. As long as you remove the big sections of blood line, they are delicious. Smaller ones better as you said. Thanks for the video.

The GOAT returns
Hey mate my wife thinks i am a Silly Goat hahah your a gem mate much appreciated 😀
Well done, Alex! Nothing better than a feed of fresh fish from the surf - provided you bleed them out and keep them cool. I use a damp hessian bag which is awesome at keeping fish in prime eating condition .
Yes definatly underrated fish. Taken care of proplerly there good. Thanks for watching my vids please share my channel will help heaps ☺️
@@AlexBellissimo Always happy to share your content, Alex.

Hey, Alex. Just wondered what you store that knife in? It's a great knife but it's shape doesn't lend itself to a standard sheath. Was thinking maybe a knife roll is the go. Your response is greatly appreciated, mate. Cheers, Frank
Hi Frank Yes hard to find a sheath suitable for the gutting knife. I use a cheap one for my gutting knife although not really suitable
@@AlexBellissimo Hi Alex. Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply. Much appreciated, mate.
A vet told me ALL sea snakes are poisonous!!

@@ryandobermann6651 hi there You don't need the typical flat sections all the time. Get down there and have a go. I have to check out what's happening then if none there go to another beach 👍
Very nice fishing.
not huge reds but nice plate size👌 please share my channel would really help me cheers
Can I please ask you, how do you cook your bream what I mean is do you fillet them or cook them whole
I prefer to have them filleted. Bream 'can' have cyst in the flesh so best to have them filleted. Pan fried parmasin cheese/bread crum mix shallow fried Bellissimo! 😘
