One of the Best on TH-cam. What month is this. Can you camp along the trail.
Thank you so much!! It was the first week of October. And there was a few spots where it looks like people camped! Also a trail at the end where Webster pass ends and Red Cone starts and it looked more like an overland trail, might be worth checking out if you’re into that.
@d3offroad thanks for the quick response. Hope to see more videos.
I'm planning on having more than one weekend sooo..
You have successfully taught me some electrical basics. You should be very proud because it has never made sense to me.
Glad we can help 😊
Might hit up Matts off-road recovery in Utah. It is a very successful YT channel They are down around the hurricane area. I hope you guys enjoyed your trip down in our part of the world!
We went there and saw them! It will be in one of our later videos still being edited 😎
@@d3offroad Awesome! Cant wait to see it!
Keep putting out the videos! I don't think you guys are quit hitting the algorithms yet for YT to really push them out. You should be getting close! Keep it up!
Thanks so much! Working on it 💪🏻
How do you figure out the springs you need for the amount of weight in the vehicle. Driver & passenger weight. and additional coolers and accessories?
Maybe we should make a video specific on just that to help everyone at home spec their springs themselves
You guys have the best information! You literally have the only videos with valuable information on setting up your shock and sprigs.
Nooooo.... We need you in the SxS world! lol
you need to get these from JAKO, Lightning™ RX4 Rapid Tire Deflator Gauge (0-60 PSI)
That’s so fancy! The old oh look it has a belly on the tire works like a charm 🤣
When did you go? Would you go earlier in the season if you were to do it again? Looks like a great trip. Thanks.
We went the first week of October and absolutely loved it! Haven’t tried other times of year but fall is our favourite time to ride so we can take in the colours and not sweat your ass off in summer heat haha
You sir have earned another subscriber
Thanks!
Amazing trip, thanks for sharing! Great to see you back wheeling!!
Thanks for watching!! It was a wicked trip and next year we will have both rigs out the ultra 4 and the krx for some sweet content this year just went by too quick!
35" MotoRavage are in the crosshairs for my eS. 370's have too many ripped lugs from the carcass. Xroxx DD are waaaaay undersize and wore too quickly. How ya'll diggin' them MotoRavages thus far?
Quite honestly depends what you're doing with them. They're a great all around tire, so if you ride in terrain where there's a little bit of everything you'll probably enjoy them. However, on rocks I'd say they're average. So if you're looking to rock crawl a lot, maybe consider something stickier or with more of a contact patch like the rockzillas.
@@d3offroad I'm willing to trade a bit of traction for longevity. They wearing long for ya'll? Sick of new shoes once every 9 months.
I do that Red Cone Trail 3 to 4 times a year! You should have went over & done Radical Hill! Both of those trails are a must do, when I go there. Enjoyed the video! 👍🏼
We had planned to come back the next day to do that, but decided to try different areas first and never got back. But its definitely on our list if we go back!
Amazing scenery, looks like a great time!
Would love to go here and can’t wait to see more videos of it from yall if you got any
Not this trail specifically, but we will have more from Colorado coming!
hell yea i cant wait to ride this weekend
Awesome trail
Nice! Thank you 👍🏼
First time I seen the tree line like that I thought the jolly green giant has been in here and took all the trees out just unbelievable beautiful
Let’s go again!!
Yes pleassee
beautiful!
Would love to see what you’re going to do with the new one. What are you going to change and no way how much the axles is bent housings and all that
I have 7 hand Helds and the long entena works way better than the short on goes 10 miles and the the long one goes 25 miles
What tires are on the blue one?
Motoravage XL 35”
What is the ride height on the machine you showed with stick springs?
15” roughly
Fuck, can I borrow some money so I can just get a normal one 😂
The cage that I see in the walkaround video looks very much factory...
That was after the custom cage had been removed. Insurance wouldn’t cover the value of any aftermarket parts so we replaced them with stock parts. As mentioned, we took off the old cage and sold it to a friend. We do have a video showing the custom cage that was on the machine.
Did you guys have to reclutch for the 35 inch tires
Mels machine is still stock but did JBS weights and secondary spring on mine! Both setups work good 👍
The ultra 4? Because it is an ultra 4 that would be sweet
You missed trail 73!
Pro xp for sure
I’ll take the 600 horse nothing like the feel of real horsepower 🤘🏼
Ultra4 car cuz I know the guy that built it, and it fucks! 🤘🍻💪
What a silly question. ULTRA 4
600 hp you say…….
Not to be rude but that’s a turbo r
My bad I don’t have all the models memorized 🤣
Not the polaris.
100% that sexy Polaris PRO R with that wicked new cage!!
Xp is lighter .. so less chance of getting stuck.... But 600 HP is fun to play with
The RZR, no way the other beast is fitting down 90 percent of the trails I know, lol. Also the cops would have lots to say to me ripping 600 screaming hp through town haha
🤣🤣🤣
600 for the win and why... For the BrRRRrAaaaaPp💨💨💨
The first one because it’s red
Respectfully you said the crossover wrong. 2:1 is every 2” your shock moves is 1” of the isolator
Good catch! I am human and make mistakes! 🍻
Love it
I don't like mirrors on the side I run a big basically rearview mirror in the cab. Can you still see out the back with this cage with a rearview mirror. Awesome job. Nicely built and great job explaining the way you built it and why 👍👊
Kinda funny watching you out of staters eat crow. Yes. Greens, and Blues are very manicured, easy trails(for family enjoyment, and sightseeing). Or, for chickening out after your nerves get the best of you. lol. Some of the double blacks, and even the single blacks are insanely dangerous after rain storms. You caught these trails in their easiest conditions. You couldn’t hang on our old washed out logging roads. HM trails are maintained for public use. Some of our local trails ARE NOT. They were literally made for dozers, and skidders for logging purposes only, and are NEVER worked. Anyways….i enjoyed seeing the fear in your eyes, after talking shit. Haha
Lol wouldn’t surprise me! We more so thought the rating systems were weird at first, some blacks felt like greens, so we were confused. Then a local explained what the trail numbers meant and then it started to make sense, especially after trying this trail. We’re used to mud and slick rock in Ontario for most of the year, but we have few hills that compare to the ones we rode in West Virginia. Would love to try some of the local trails!
@@d3offroad Dude. I live in Gilbert, and I never get tired of riding. However, I rarely ride HM trails, unless it’s like a Monday, or Tuesday. They’re just too crowded, most of the time. Great way to have a head on collision with someone. Haha. I guess I just get butt hurt if I hear people making fun of our trails. lol. To be fair, it’s almost impossible for you guys to come here, and automatically find the fun stuff, that we’re used to. The trail ratings are definitely sketchy, but it’s mainly based on rainfall, and how recently they’ve dozed them, that determines their condition. Rainwater rushes down these mountains with lots of destruction behind it. The flooding here is no joke sometimes. The trail ratings are mainly based on the steepness, in my opinion. Conditions, and smoothness change quite often. I saw my uncle almost roll his rzr on a blue trail one day, after days of heavy rainfall. Then, 2 weeks later, even the Blacks were smooth as hardtop. Anyways…. Sorry for being too hard on you guys. I hope you come back and enjoy yourselves again.
Too funny at the 20 min mark. You kinda asked for the rude awakening. You went from poking fun at the difficulty, to looking like the newbies that you really are. Most double blacks are NO JOKE. Novice riders have lost their lives on some of them. Many VERY good local drivers have gotten seriously hurt in these mountains. Sorry. It’s just disturbing to hear very mediocre drivers talking shit, then watching how clueless you really are. You deservingly made yourselves look pretty foolish. Lesson learned I guess….. You guys couldn’t follow me around on our outlaw trails, and I drive a stock Talon. lol
You guys hit them when they weren’t washed out. There are times when even the single blacks are TOUGH. Trust me. Do all of those after a thunderstorm, then get back to me. lol
