good stuff bud! i enjoy tech videos especially when its a northern brother putting them out. now we need you selling all these extra badass parts so i can stop ordering from the states lol
Nicely done. I put out a vid about 2 weeks ago doing the Brute Performance diff locker upgrade. Glad I did it, it is a known weak spot in an otherwise rugged driveline. I did mine while it was still onboard so I like the extra layer of learning you did with actually removing the diff for people that have never done it before. Keep up the good work!
My first diff breakage was the diff input shaft. Sheared clean at the neck down. Upgraded with full spline shaft and upgraded the lock gear as preventitive. The lock gear blew up anyway..the customer service was great and the warrantied the gear, fork, sensor, cover. But once i tore it apart and cleaned it up found the case is FUBAR. Unrepairable. So guess ill have to raid daughters college fund to buy a unit as case is unavailable 😢
Ahhh bummer!! That’s why we went with a whole case so we can keep a spare to avoid down time and waiting! I can tell you our local dealer that we use got us the complete diff in a couple weeks! Wasn’t a long wait at all 😎
@@d3offroad there in stock. Its not the wait. Its the 1600$ that hurts. But like what your doin. Keep it up. Maybe one day i can get to Canada and come ride.
What do you guys really think of the KRX and do you think it has enough power and wheel speed for longer steeper hills im in search of a new side x side trying to figure out what to get and u have a number i can reach you at
We love the krx for our style of riding, everyone knows it does not have the most power… but on trail rides there has never been a spot where it did not have enough power to get up a hill or over an obstacle, it just gets passed on all the big straight away by turbo machines. Our contact info is posted on the website www.d3offroad.com
We’ve heard of that being from dirty connectors, or a switch that isn’t working as good to send the required voltage but no proof to those claims just what we’ve seen online so maybe clean your connectors first!
I recieved mine today. It should be made out of gold for one gear. The add on their website make it look like it;s two gears. Way overpriced for what you get. Hopefully it will protect my locker,

Keep the how to videos coming! I appreciate the time time you guys take to explain how things work.

Thank you did u have any fix for how loud they are inside
Can you specify which Amsoil grease you used in the video? Could not find it on your site as of this comment. Thanks.

Thank you
Mine seems to take longer than it used to to engage the diff lock, could it be wear on something specific? 9000 miles

Unfortunately on the krx you have to pull the diff to change the driveshaft.
Ah darn 🤣
Best video I seen on this you explain how it works no one else does
Are you sure that’s not four-wheel-drive, high and four-wheel-drive low?
High gear and low gear come from inside the transmission at the back of the machine not the differential up front 👍

Wanna properly in that review probably won’t break
