Note: I forgot to mention that I intentionally benchmarked without my AMD card's fancy features like FSR to get a better idea of this system's raw performance, *but turning it on would definitely give a pretty massive boost to frame rates of these games at 4K resolution (like LTT did in their, ahem, later video's benchmarks 😏).

This is one handheld where you DONT need a screen protector. in fact, its dumb to install it. save it for another 3.5" screen.

If you're in europe base price is 899€ which is 966$ at current exchange rate (without the frigging disk drive), for fun i tried looking if the base ps5 with disk was available anywhere and it's impossible to find, similarly it's pretty hard to find the disk attachment for the pro/slim. If someone was looking to upgrade and had mostly physical games he would spend a ton for a console that is unable to play most of his library of games, CRAZY. Crossing fingers for good deals in cyber monday.

Thanks! Just taped mine up and feeling much better. I found the letter buttons still shook around a lot, so I wedged little bits of foam in the rubber groove for each button and now they feel real nice.

Absolutely not. All non stock are just some sort of Alpha releases and the only added value is some nice themes. They all lack of basic features like bluetooth support, hinge support, they're unstable for some emus, some games work, some not. Stock OS is stable and complete. Maybe not that good looking, but works :), I don't understand this non-stock OS mania.

Mario 64 looks beautiful in stereoscopic 3D. I wish porting FreeDoom was easier; I thought anything could play Doom, but it's still so wonky on this platform.

I have the regular 3ds modded and barley used, since i dont need to go much outside for long i have many better hardware alternatives 😅(when modded some loadings and powering up take sooo loooong)

I was set to get one of those special editions New 3DS XL ! Then fucking Micromania dropped the ball on my preorder and didn't have one left... That was the third time this happened with them (with the second being Borderlands 2 preorder with the real loot chest which was compensated for by a refund of the price excess and an offered season pass and shirt, still unhappy). Haven't preordered a single thing from them since then. But hey, than 3DS is still kicking and the amount of thing available these days is really cool and crazy.
