That's pretty cool of the subscriber to send that to you to check it out. I've seen some folks looking at those.. Looks pretty cool! I've mentioned to Case reps at the Case events that we like carbon steel.. Hopefully, we'll see more in the future. Still fun to collect Case!! Thanks my friend! I hope you are doing well!
I have 2 of the baby docs on pre-order and i like the cut out nail knick on the soddy but i will have to admit im dying for some larger patterns with a locking blade. So much of their catalog is small and you are 100% correct they are absolutely abysmal on listening to customer/fan feedback. Like man i would love to hear a response on some of the bigger issues the community has raised. Either they just dont give a crap or the social media team over there is completely tone deaf.
I got the green brown wood crossroads last month and the pulls so tight its a nail breaker for sure and the etch stamp is gold looking because its so tight its eating the brass liner i need to figure out loosen the screws i could tell something wasnt right at the pivot screw one side is sunk in far and the opposite side is way out not flush at all i gotta fix it or get a new one sad i was very excited for it
@richterknives I am gonna try I figured out it's the T6 torque screw I gotta get either 2 screw drivers or a screw driver and I bit for the impact and play with it I just hope I'll be able to get the brass out the stamp and get it in working order
That is a good knife for a price below $70!! I'm still laughing about that dang Baby Dr Knife, who on earth really wants one of those things?? Complete nonsense if you ask me. Thanks for sharing that one and you got some great examples to compare it to. Have a great day!!
It wouldn't surprise me if they quietly remove the Crossroads series after this year. I guess they were going for "modernized sod buster", but they're about 15 years too late. Nobody wants T6 hardware, especially for your pivot screw. 🤦 It's like they didn't focus test the product with modern knife collectors at all. It's not your Grandpa's Soddy anymore, but it's also not up to par with the current "modern" slip joints out there. It's like they were aiming to be mid. 🤷
It looks like a winner for Case in my opinion. Modern design and steel for the modern knife fans, yet also traditional. The price is very good also.
👍
Cool piece! Thanks for the look at it, buddy!
Thanks for watching!
Pretty cool upgrades. Great video 👍
👍
Very fine video 👍
Thanks!
Case is a shell of its glory days. It’s a shame. So much potential if they would listen to the community. Your criticism is spot on.
Thanks for the feedback. Agreed
Hey Richta!🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@ericasedc HEY E!!! 😉
Nice looks comfy for the hand .. it’s a modern touch to the sod b jr..
👍

💯
I like the liners
@@kathleensmith370 pretty cool and different
Not too bad, a very good twist, putting a nee twist on a classic design
Agreed

You can probably tinker with it and get it right

It’s a dang good knife for the price. Yeah and that baby doctors knife….JOKE.
Must agree , they don't need that slot/ hole
Doesn’t look right to me
@richterknives just a small classic nail knick like on the low key yellow Delron

Nice show, thank you!
Bet you hate Spydercos since they all have big holes in the blades.
Nah
I’d rather see them tightening up QC on their traditional offerings than coming out with this take on modern knives.
💯
Lol everyone hates the baby Dr knife. I haven’t heard one good thing about it aside from people who have to say nice things saying nice things.

A half stop would definitely change my mind on a few of these blades... Still not much of a fan... 🙏✌️
It’s a good pocket knife. Half stop would make it that much better. I don’t think it’s for everyone. I do appreciate it though
Yeah... Trashy knife... Not all about the design... I personally would not buy... Just a cheap intro for the price...
Thanks for the feedback
