My local is an Ace but small family owned one. They let you pick through as well. They keep the display boxes in a Rubbermaid tote and in there I found the knife I ended up buying as well as other models that they didn’t even have in the display case due to lack of space.

I've heard of some customer service complaint issues in the past. I've only sent a Panama Trapper back as I deemed it not meeting my less than stringent expectations. It returned some better, but not great. At any rate, it's a cool knife.

I'm SOOOO GLAD someone else agrees. I think anytime there's an elongated bolster, there shouldn't be a shield!! I'm also glad ya found one with great fit/finish. It shows they CAN do it if they want to. I wish they'd try to do it more consistently. Great video as always. Congrats on the 3.5K subs too.

I've never owned a One-Arm Razor before, and trying to find a Calf Pen ain't easy, so maybe I need to look into one of these. Those old dudes at the hardware store always hook you UP!!...You've gotten so many awesome Case knives from them! I checked out my local hardware store for Cases back when I was on the Swayback Hunt, and they had a few, but nothing really struck me. They had about 200 Sydercos at 30% over retail tho!!! 🤣🤣. If you were wondering if I paused this video so I could read in reverse what the sticker on Goose's back window says (No I'm not going to paint it)...well I did lol!! You better not paint it, bro!! So how big of a problem has the dreaded verdigris been in Case, I have a amber bone that you can see the green verdigris spreading throughout the bone under the scales and around one pin and since the bone is slightly translucent its pretty visible as a green-ish hue under the scales, almost like polishing compound, but it comes back several weeks to months later, along the back springs where the brass liners are. there is no way to get to it, the bone needs to be completely dry before assembling and maybe even treated with a poly coat before assembly . this is beginning to be a pet peeve of mine.
