AWESOME
Thank you so much 🙏
Make hellboy! Now that would be awesome!
Right on I can do that! It's funny someone else just request him too 😄
@@CarvalhoCreations great! Looking forward to it! I would love to see how you tackle the right hand of doom! Make him bulky on top tho. He's got a wide chest and back
@bjulianlm oh yeah for sure! I'm a Hellboy fan so I'd definitely do the character some justice. I actually dressed up as him some years ago. It was awesome!
@@CarvalhoCreations no wonder I liked your style! 😉 You got a new subscriber then! Looking forward to it!
@bjulianlm right on and welcome! Thanks for watching!
Your face sculpting it phenomenal !! He looked great ❤❤I would love to see you do a Zombie face do you sell your props or use them yourself on Halloween? Love to see your set up if you keep them.
Thank you so much 🙏 I've sculpted a few zombies here on the channel but that's a character I love to revisit so I can definitely make more. I typically sell my work. I just don't have the space to store
Your face sculpting it phenomenal !! He looked great ❤❤I would love to see you do a Zombie face
He is absolutely cool looking!! Love it.
I'm pretty happy with the way he turned out too haha thank you!
that guy scared the beans outta me as a kid I can only imagine what he looks like as a creature standing still!!!!
Yep this dude definitely sparks trauma for alot of us 😄
Great stuff thanks!
My pleasure. Thanks so much for watching!
What did you use for the base? How is it standing up? And where did you find the teeth mold? Thanks 😊
I used the large stake I showed at the beginning of the video and zipped tied it the the 2x4 base. If you search for silicone teeth mold on Amazon you see a few good options. I did sculpt over the teeth once I had them in place to make the points however.
@CarvalhoCreations Oh sorry, I didn't see that part. 😆 And thanks for the tip about the teeth.
How do you make your monster mud? Specifically to be water proof?
I use 5 parts joint compound to 1 part latex paint and mix. That ratio seems to work out the best.
OMG I love it! Thanks for the eleborate tut! You rock😊
My pleasure. I'm happy you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for watching!
WOW She is amazing, Well done you !!!
Thanks so much 🙏
Pinhead is one of those monsters everyone recognizes even if they have not seen the movie. The fingernails add a lot. Great work.
Thanks brotha and you're absolutely right. Small details like the nails really help sell this dude.
When did you make that?
A few months ago now
I just made my witch head/face, and I'm making the body next! After that, I'm trying this pumpkin. Love you videos!
Right on thank you so much 🙏 I love when people try out my projects. Please send me some images through Instagram or email @Carvalhocreations@gmail.com. make sure and add a clear coat to your finished piece to protect the foam. Thanks so much for watching!
Awesome build….Might I suggest using a whole piece of pvc for the feet legs and hip….Start out bending the foot, then bend the hip, then the other hip, then the knee and finally the foot….Cut any excess pvc after the last foot….Just an idea….I did that once on the top half measuring with a tape measure as I went…It was the arms and shoulder….Looked like handle bars from a motorcycle when I got done shaping…LOL….Anyway love the build!
Thanks for the suggestion my friend I appreciate it 🙏I think you're absolutely right. Thanks so much for watching
Amazing work as always. Thank you for sharing your talent
Thank you and it's really my pleasure
I saw the thumbnail I was like…”OMG 🫣” that thing was scary looking when I was little.
Haha yeah this character definitely triggers some trauma for alot of people 😄 thanks for watching!
Class work there sir, very much respect. :)
Thank you I appreciate it 🙏
Very impressive..it looks absolutely amazing!!
I'm happy you like the way he came out. Thank you!
You could work for the movie studios ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'd love to!! Thanks so much 🙏
Wow epic this really does look like it came from the Hellraiser franchise and bang on with the Pinhead Character it's very well done and very well put together I absolutely love the entire make and build even the paint work You should do one from Hell Boy the devil like dude the one that has the big horns Overall I absolutely love this video
Thanks so much for that! I do my best to give these characters the justice they deserve so I'm happy he came out well. I can definitely make Hellboy! That sounds like a lot of fun actually 😄. Thanks for watching!
@CarvalhoCreations Your very much welcome awesome to hear 😀
Is that foam clay ok to leave outdoors? If so, what kind is it? It looks like the product that i never knew i was missing until watching this video. By the way, that came out really awesome. otimo trabalho!
It's good to put outside if you paint on a coat of monster mud to seal it. I also use an outdoor polyurethane for further protection. Thanks so much! It's foam clay that's sold at hobby lobby. No branding on the container
You did a fantastic job!! Love it!
Thank you so much!
@@CarvalhoCreations I’d love to make one but I fear you make it look easier than it is lol. Mine would probably look like I bought it from Wish 🤣
Freaky awesome job, wow!! Love Pinhead
Thank you so much!!
Sam from trick or treat
Right on he's already on my list so very soon. Thanks for watching!
Great video with excellent techniques!
Thank you I appreciate that 🙏
Duuude ... Your creations get better and better! Love the detail in the face with the Dremel work 🤩 Keep Shining ✨💎
Right on thank you! I'm pretty proud of this one 😄
I think is was an amazing coffin 👍👍👍
Thank you so much 🙏
Viktor from Underworld wood be a cool prop.
Now that's a great request!! I can definitely make him. Thanks for watching!
How would you suggest making gigantic claw hands ?
Depends on how you'd like to use them but I'd create a lightweight substructure using cardboard formed into the shape you want. Then coat everything in spray foam. Carve the foam down to your desired shape and, if it's going outdoor, brush on a coat of monster mud before paint.
@@CarvalhoCreations thank you
You should do creature from the black lagoon
Absolutely I can!! Thanks so much for watching!
Yes please do a video showing how to do the frame work 😊
I just released my pinhead tutorial where i show you how to create the armature. Thanks so much for watching!
Pinhead turned out AMAZING!!! You are so talented -- he looks real!!!
Thank you so much! I really took my time with this dude so I'm happy he came out this good and you like him.
brilliant idea for the hands!
I thought it was worth a share haha 😄 thanks so much for watching!
@@CarvalhoCreations Do you take requests? Because I've been really inspired to make my own creature/character prop for halloween this year! I really want to make a little alien dude, just a classic roswell ufo/Area-51 Big head, big eyes, "take me to your leader" kind of alien. But i cant find any DIY tutorials on them. I think you're building some of the coolest characters on youtube and you're doing it all with your own tools and scrap materials and with a reasonable budget. I would love to see how you'd make an Alien. Regardless, keep up the great work work man!! can't wait to see your next project!
@scottjgrant3345 absolutely I take requests brotha and an alien has been on my list for awhile. I'll definitely be doing one I just can't give you a time when I'll have it ready. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for watching!
Where to purchase a witch head (face) to try myself?
I actually sculpted the face using foam clay over a styrofoam head
That's awesome, how about a goblin?
Yes thats an awesome request!! Going on the list. Thanks for watching!!
Very cool
Thank you!
Wow fantastic!!! Next time for details, try Loctite foam. Much more moldable. Subscribed!
Welcome and thank you!! I keep hearing that so I'll have to try it out. Thanks so much for watching!
Look like something out of goosebumps ❤
I can see that 😄 thanks so much for watching!
Great prop build as always! I'm still waiting for the crouching Gargoyle with removable wings for storage! Thanks sir.
Thank you brotha 🙏 I'm definitely going to get to that build in the future but I have quite a few projects to get done ahead of that one. Thanks for your patience
What did u use to keep them upright or just the wood weight was it? Love these starting mine tomm 💚
To hold them in place I actually drill 2 holes in the wood base and use metal stakes to anchor them. I've also heard of embedding pvc pipe in the tombstone itself and slipping them over rebar that's stakes into the ground.
Bloody fantastic, I Luv Em !!!!!!!♥♥♥
Right on thank you!
Have you done a scary scarecrow?
I have! The video has been up for a few weeks and it's pretty awesome. Definitely check it out and thanks for watching!
Hay dude awsome work have you ever done the Locktite spray foam Technique were spray it on and spray it with water wait 8 minutes and you can sculpt what ever you want just that I give you a idea to one artist to another.
I haven't tried it yet but I've seen it done and would love to give it a go. I'll make sure to use that technique in a future video. Thank you brotha 🙏
@@CarvalhoCreations no problem 😎🤘🏽 man stay wicked
How did you come up with witch head to start with? So awesome
Just did a little research on the style I wanted and winged it during the sculpt a bit 😄
What’s the stuff u spray after the heat gun?
It's just water to cool down the plastic so it holds its shape
Hey Brotha! Starting to work with the foam clay and was wondering how you get it to stick to the foam head?
You can lightly dampen the foam head if your clay isn't sticking on its own. That should help it adhere a little better.
awesome. How about a beautiful angry serpent Medusa?
I can definitely do that! She's actually already on the list. 😄
Dude these are absolutely amazing!! They are great as a trio! 🌙🦇
Thanks so much! I figured little groups of these dudes would look great spread around the yard.
Beau Field
How about a flying witch on a broom????
Way sick!! Yep I can do that!
