In this video I show you how I make an arrangement in a common 5x5 glass cylinder. This type of vase showcases the flowers. It is boring, plain and in the background. It lets the flowers be in the spotlight.
I don't use any mechanic, but you could use a tape grid. I let my foliage create that grid to support my flowers. I use thick-stemed scented geranium, woody nine bark and eucalyptus for greenery and an armature.
Snapdragons are my line flowers. Lisianthus is a secondary flower. Dahlias are my focals. Kiss Me Over The Garden Gate provide interest. I love to add them on the edge of the vase to cascade over the side.
