I work at a country club and we have a really nice sim rig I run. Next level racing motion platform. It's sweet. At home, I haven't even considered motion because I just find it so difficult to be competitive with motion on. Bass shakers (that I do have on my rig) provide the same if not more feedback to me and it's just more natural than motion... But motion is certainly fun!!

I also own a motion rig from Simrig, the SR2 and went from screens to a Pimax Crystal. I know there are drawbacks, e.g. you cant see buttonboxes anymore, but in terms of immersion: Nothing beats a motion rig and a good VR headset. I recently added a belttension system - and with that, a Bass shaker system I own from day one and haptic pedal motors, I sometimes get lost thinking I'm driving a real car. Concrats to your motion system! 🎉

The screens doesn’t move so it’s more of a nuisance. However, in VR, it’s a whole new world.

The car looks good but had a facelift front replacement. The bumper and headlights etc are from 98/99/00 V5 or V6 variant

The last days ive compared Dirt rally 2 with the new WRC, and i must say Dirt Rally 2 feels just better, and looks better. WRC Generations also feels alot better then the new WRC, also there is a physics mod for Generations, i would say generations and DIrt Rally 2 are the best rally sims out there, ah, and for sure richard burns.

One thing missing from a lot of these four-post motion rigs is yaw. There's a sense of rotation and catching grip when sliding sideways that doesn't translate as well without a yaw axis.

you should try beamng, its main feature is the awesome damage model and it is pretty good for rallying
