I am only typing this comment because you specifically asked viewers to but I disliked the video. Only because I disagreed with your approach to this video. I feel like so many people are being way too emotional and not meeting people on Tim's level here. People are really taking the "You" at face value. But like he said English doesn't have a good word for how he wants to express himself. Maybe I am just extremely analytical and detail minded I don't take what he says personally and can engage with what he's saying in the way he intends. He laid out all the problems in how to interpret feedback but then you just do the exact same thing he is complaining about. Saying something is bad is helpful. But like he said that leaves countless choices to go with. You need to balance positive and negative feedback to get the full picture. And on top of that there are contextual issues as well. With his point about designing menu UI. Is it bad because of its visually unappealing. is it Cluttered? Does it not interact with a mechanic in an Intended way. If people were more constructive with what they want and their expectations from a product it would obviously make for a better product. You are also extremely combative for no reason. You agree with his point about not being able to please everyone but you do it in such an aggressive tone. Also ragging on him for referencing previous videos does not make sense to me. If I spent 20 minutes talking about a topic I probably would not want to repeat myself either. It comes off as petty. Also all the negative stereotypes of gamers he is talking about. I have 100 percent seen. The vast majority of gamers are inarticulate normies. No hate to you so I hope you don't take this personally.

True, he does not want to say but it's obvious to everybody what gamers want. The more they deny reality the more Korean, Chinese and Japanese devs will pop off in the west. The west inability to adress the elephant in the room must account to like 20% of all revenue eastern devs get just because they can read the market and are not ideologically shackled.

I very much love the game, really knows how to pull on your heart strings. I am really glad that we got this gem in the west. The game is so good that [Spoilers] I reached the daily part of ending 5 without having seen ending 2-4 and now I on the one hand want to know what they are but I would feel horrible about setting her back and lying to her about her father (I assume that would get you to one ending) etc. it is that bad. :D Have you layed all the endings yet and if so, were they worth it?

Level differences - Levels are exponential, not liner, and simply adding the numbers is not a good way to find a good match for someone, for example, Ainz has an ability to automatically negate the attacks of creatures lower than level 60, meaning that no matter how many battle maids fought him, even an infinite amount of them, they would never be able to damage him, and the author has stated that at higher levels, even a difference of 5 levels is near insurmountable, only special gimmicks or rare skills can hope to turn the tide on a higher level opponent, but those are very rare, in most cases the higher level opponent will always win, or at least 9/10 times. If it were liner then 100 level 1 peasants would be an equal match for Ainz, and 200 would be impossible for him to beat, which obviously isn't the case, seeing at though he was able to kill an army of 200,000 solders who were probably at least level 2-3, showing the difference in power. In the Zeshi fight, Mare was able to fight her in close combat even though he was an AOE mage just because of the level difference, much like how Ainz does, though the fact that Mare just has better gear also helps. Aura's Eye - This refers to one of Aura's skills which she used to save Ainz in the fight he had against Shalltear, when he was about to cast the super tier magic fallen down, for the second time, he hesitated, because at the time he wasn't sure if the NPCs could be revived. Shalltear noticed his hesitation and went in to attack to cancel his spell, but Aura intervened, using one of her skills to interrupt Shalltear's attack at the last moment, giving Ainz enough time to stop hesitating and finish the fight. Rewatch/reread this scene with this in mind and you'll see it. Gap-moe - This means a mismatch in appearance and attitude, and was a favorite trope of Tabula Smaragdina, one of the supreme beings and the one who made Albedo and her sisters, who were supposed to represent this trope in different ways. For example, Albedo (before the change), had the appearance of a beautiful women, but had the personality of a "bitch", Nigredo has the appearance of a horror movie monster like the grudge, but she is actually one of the few NPCs that has positive karma and is a good person, and lastly Rubedo, since her appearance isn't known we can't say what her gap-moe is, but one theory I personally subscribe to is, since she is the strongest being in the Guild, she has the appearance of a harmless little girl. TouchMeIfYouCan - This is not official by any means, it is simply a fan theory, personally I think it is just a funny MMO player name, and nothing deeper, but this theory is not bad either. Peroroncino is not worthy - I am not 100% sure on this one, so this is what I interpret it as, he and Ainz were stated to be good friends, even among members of the guild, as such, when designing Shalltear, Peroroncino often showed off her build and characteristics to Ainz, and even gave her "necrophilia", which at least I believe makes it seem like Peroroncino made aspects of Shalltear like a "gift" to Ainz to celebrate their friendship, and since he was a pervert, his gift happened to be perverted too. For the "not worthy" part, I believe it is because Peroroncino did not actually design Shalltear to like him, while she respects him as a supreme being and her creator, she shows no signs of lust towards him, whereas Ainz is endlessly showered in it. Caloric Stone - As far as I know there is nothing that states this World Item strengthens NPCs, Omega's strength is simply because she is a level 100 NPC, confirmed by the illustration of all the level 100 NPCs by so-bin, where she can be seen, albeit with her face obscured by shadow. As for the stone, the most popular theory is that, it is being used as a golem core for Rubedo, which would give a good explanation as to why she is the most powerful in the guild since she would be made from a World Item. New worlders aren't human - Again this seems like a either a fan theory or a misinterpretation of lore, humans in the new world are fundamentally different from humans in real life, as you said, one part is that they can gain levels by working or killing monsters, but also biologically and historically, it would simply not make sense for humans as they exist in our world, to work the same in another. This also brings up a small point, mentioned in vol 1, where Ainz learns that the new world just doesn't function, like the real world at all, for example, terminal velocity simply doesn't exist, meaning that the way gravity works across the entire world is different, another being the fact that the ocean isn't salty, meaning that the entire ecosystem is different, there are some other small things, but the point is that most of the things in the new world that look familiar, probably function not exactly how you would expect. Anyways, there were a few other corrections, but nothing too glaring, good video nonetheless. One thing I thought was curious that it wasn't mentioned, is that there is actually a global release Overlord gacha game right now, Lord of Nazarick, it's an alright game, but the standout part is that it has multiple "what-if" scenarios that expand on the lore, at the moment I am not sure if any are officially sanctioned by the author, but they are still interesting.

Yeah most of your takes were better than the one you referenced just got that one a bit off. We'll if I am correct in remembering this from manga or light novels and according to the author he considers the manga to be the cannon source. But yeah the dragons needed a change or their magic would bring ruin to there world. They might have not intended but where the cause of players in the world. As most Dragons capable of wild magic use the life force of the land and it's people for their magic. But yeah keep up the good work you are easy to listen to.

Karma is a stat given to NPC's and PC's as it denotes your willingness to PK. Almost all NPC's other than the twins, Sebas, and Pistonia are at max evil for Karma. Also for the why Ainz ended up in the world it has to do with the Wild Magic spell the dragons made that brought players to the world. The why they did that is what we don't know. And the big thing about the elf eyes are that it is a mark of nobility for dark elf's yet it was a selection made by PC's in game world yet it effected the new world and that is why it is iceberg material. Stating that Zeshi is around battle maid is crazy she has the same skill as Ainz "all life is death" or whatever and should be equal to Pandora actor as Ainz IE lvl80

Really good video, and the part about how you worry about someone who just stops posting is so true. I still worry about the family that had a no-kill cat rescue that I followed that just stopped posting updates anywhere a couple of years ago, especially since the main poster of the family had a ton of health problems & took it extremely hard when people would insult them online.

I think what you dont understand about chris chan is back in the day, many of his trolls wanted to convince him to sort his life out. Did they do a good job? Doubt it but chrischan wasnt given a truely good childhood to help him develop so he remained in his own world. Also he 100% did do his mom, like the evidence is pretty damning and even if he didnt he stole a lot of cash from his mothers account. I hope he gets better but i really doubt it

The meaning of the word Otaku オタク is actually a little bigger than what it is defined as in western anime culture. By its Japanese definition, you can be an Otaku of anything (it basically means nerd or enthusiast) You can be a Train Otaku or an Electronics Otaku etc. You could use this and give yourself a name that indicates you are a Crab/Shellfish Otaku perhaps? Also apologies, I did watch your last video but I didn't have time to comment as I had to rush to work. When you mentioned Kanji, I thought I should clarify what I said a bit. Kanji is definitely harder to learn than Hiragana and katakana as there are thousands of different Kanji. As you learn more and more Kanji words you will start to notice patterns that will help you figure out how to read them, but for the most part you will have to look up each new word and learn it the first time you see it. There's no completely consistent rules. Some characters have only 2 readings, others have like 8. Kanji makes sentences much easier to read so long as you actually know the Kanji words, but even if you don't, Kanji makes it easier to tell where words and end begin.
