I see you are a man of culture. good luck on that journey man, also as side quest try to get familiar with spanish? i know you said on the video about the racism you recieved but there are cool opening songs for the old animes than in english and the problem you said about localizers doing more than they should i think it doesnt happen in the latin dubs.
Moe... And yes hahaha. Well I have learned Spanish through mere osmosis at this point. I'd say I'm 80% fluent in it... but. I don't want to be. Basically, I want to flip their expectations of me on their heads when I learn a totally separate language.
I recently hit all 3 of those goals and I treated myself to a cake for it! While I don't consider myself anywhere near fluent, I'd be glad to assist you in any way I can! @@redshellman Remember 100% of the ones that succeed stuck with it! Find a stable (and possibly fun) routine. If you are doing this for anime then get to a stap that involves anime asap! Consider Animelon, JPDB, Mokuro, Memento and a few other tools that make integrating anime/manga easier!
Sorry I never responded! Thanks! Yeah you want to know what my motivation is right now? Getting to give everyone a progress report. Making my daily videos is whats driving me forward, haha. Not to mention, its nice that when I see Japanese characters elsewhere, I might not know what its saying but the fact that i can recognize them is blowing my mind!
