So is there an easy way to do this?
You should find the mod 4x4 wildfire in Missouri
I'm always sad when you're truck pulling vids are done . They are so great that I wish they could last for hours . But I do great fully respect the pulling videos . They are so great
Thank you so much, that really means a lot, definitely more hours to come though, thanks for watching!
Ok. just asking was there a plumb crazy out of Ohio. AKA like a rock with a Ford Block, just trying to Rember. I do like it all keep up the great work.
I really don't know on that one, but definitely appreciate you watching!
Very good video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching
Great video, thanks for putting these together.
My pleasure, I learned a lot from these guys, thanks for watching
Furst
Thanks for watching
Thank you so much.
You're welcome, I hope it helps.
Was talking with the current owner of the truck this morning. Hopefully, one of my trucks is going to be the donor truck for the restoration. Such a cool piece of pulling history
That would be great, thanks for watching
Iconic, my childhood right there!!!
Thanks for watching
What is this 14mm bolt when trying to order the part online???
If you're talking about the long bolt, that would probably be a dealer or junkyard or possibly hardware store item, if you need the shorter bolts, you should be able to get those at a hardware store
How to test a starter
great suggestion
Looks like you did double torque to the bolts. Is that what GM said to do? Or, you probably over torqued
Just torqued to what the specs are
Went to school with Mark Haerr along with spike he also drove the jack Danelle’s express wish I could have caught this video earlier
That's cool, thanks for watching
There is a Sundance kid. Pulling truck from bowling Green Missouri is this it or is it 2 different trucks
Must be 2 different trucks, this one hasn't pulled in a while, thanks for watching
I don't know if anybody else has said this i want to thank you for spending the time and money to make these videos of the history of the sport i love
Thank you very much, my pleasure, thanks for watching!
Cool if Mark Harer or the Humphreys could get it back.
Who knows maybe, it's still for sale, thanks for watching
Thats awsome i have a willys wagon im thinking of doing the same type swap ive found a 2500 fairly cheap do you think the suspension would be to stiff? Did you go with the 1500 on purpose or was that just what you found for a deal
I got the 1500 for a "softer" ride thanks a 2500 but it's still too stiff, and it was available for cheap, I'm going to a rear 4 link soon too
@robguysgarage5422 it's a bad ass build nice job
@@jeremym6793 thanks much!
So cool. I remember spike and jack Daniel's from way back pulling at Canfield ohio.
The Jack Daniels body is still around but it's been repainted, thanks for watching
Thank you for posting this! One of the most iconic events ever with all the nations hitters in the house. This place shook like no other arena I have experienced. When Banter took the sled out that night it was a sight to be seen!
It's a great video with lots of different pullers, love watching anything the Banters do too, thanks for watching
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this was the sports first true East vs West competition in California. A John Borba promotion than will never be duplicated!
@ I really don't know
Killer vid
Thanks for watching
Awesome you found my TH-cam page with the video from Manitoba.
Hope it helps your channel grow too, thanks for watching
Cool find! They said that the truck was pulling last summer! It doesn't look like it pulled in years! I do remember this truck!
I guess if you change the rear tires and add an engine it could have pulled recently, thanks for watching
F'N Yeah!!!
Thanks for watching
Now it’s part of this car😜😜😂😂 I loved this, thanks bro!!
You bet, thanks for watching
Thank You
You bet, thanks for watching!
What a vid!! My childhood right there.. freaking awesome thank you!!!

Thanks for watching
Very Very Tough To Beat....! Lol if you placed 3rd you felt like you won !!!!!
Lol
His running buddy was The Tennessee Stud driven by Sonny McMahon
I remember that one
The Nite Mare truck was my biggest and strongest competitor ! Used to be owned by David Belew
I talked with Tony Wiggins who owns it now for a while down there
@robguysgarage5422 That truck was my favorite to look at it !!!!!!!
@robguysgarage5422 lol I actually bought a 57 power wagon to restore just cuz of that.... But 2 back surgeries took care of that project 😖
Mike and Ken were the KINGS of announcing when i was a kid! They knew their stuff and brought them excitement. Monster trucks and tanks were IT! My dad took me to these events in Cincinnati 10 years old...these machines were IT!
Yup, they were for me too, thanks for watching!
Rick Kippley did our engines as well... Started with a 426 hemi then upgraded to a 575 keith black hemi
I'll be interviewing Rick Kippley in March
Awesome !!!!!!
And i started when i was 16 years old ! So Much Fun !!!!!
Lots of memories in all my years competing
which truck did you have?
Proper "T"
Started with a 72 Chevy then upgraded to 84 J-10 Jeep
Back then I lived in Serena il. Now I live in Union Grove Wisconsin
@ oh wow do you still have it? i race my Willys at union grove every year
I remember pulling against Bud long before he had this truck.... The truck he used to have was called The Blue Ox super modified 4x4
Just got one back on track in under half an hour with these instructions.
So glad it helped
I remember competing against Allen in the early 80s and I actually gotta chance to ride shotgun in the 2 wheel drive OBS.... I'll never forget the sound and looking at the ceiling....!!!! Lol glad Allen had clean socks... 😉👍
Wish I could ride in it too, which truck was your's back in the 80's?
In 2007 Micheal Harper invited my father and I to go to Laniar, Ga. to help him run a monster show that he promoted. We were there for 5 days and I met Mike Gallaway and we spent every day together. We stayed at the same hotel and had complamentary breakfast together then went to the track. Mike told a lot of great stories and he was so funny. He mentions getting business card. He gave me his card that week but I don't think it was his real card because there was a list of funny perverted jobs on the card that he was qualified for. I still have that card taped to my desk drawer in my office. This vid brings back some great memories as do all of your videos.
Made me laugh, thank you, I can see Mike giving out those cards, thanks for watching too!
I've always wondered what happened to all these machines and people that were bigger than life. I absolutely love this channel and what your doing the banter brothers were gods when I was growing up. Please keep making these videos do you remember the orange blossom Express pickup truck pulling truck
m.th-cam.com/video/hlBplP2b5SY/w-d-xo.html- here's my walk around of the OBS Express, definitely more coming too, thanks for watching!
Pulling life I pulled many times with Black Bart
Very cool, thanks for watching!
This is great! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!, thanks for watching
Where is the Cow Palace? Thanks for sharing.
San Francisco, CA
Daly City California, thanks for watching
I love watching the classic pulls, thanks for posting this
You bet, thanks for watching
I heard the metal piece drop to the bottom, I thought it might be a cable but this seems more complicated. Oddly both my rear windows did the same thing within a month even though it’s a 20 year old car. Fortunately if you push the window up to the top and flick the switch it locks in place, at least Toyota thought of that instead of a block of wood. Thanks for the video I’ll leave it for a whole day off sometime in the future
Hope it helps, thanks for watching!
Why are they not using the output on the transfer case @ 4:56?
There's really no reason too, because the other output goes to the rear end, the smaller output may be a PTO
For some reason I always thought this was the best-looking truck. The tires just seems to be the perfect size
Love it too, thanks for watching!
my check engine light came on after this but i had to drive for about 5 minutes then it turned off basically just resets your mass airflow sensor
Good to know
slap some plates on it and drive it.
No kidding, right!
