An easy way to make thicker white walls fast and simple, works with a rim on the tire or just the tire off the rim.

I used to drive on the board to break the bead but it seemed like I'd break the board or it would pop up under the car. I use a bumper/ farm jack now. Lay the tire under the front bumper of my 7.3l diesel and set the jack foot on the tire
I was at a friend's, swapping out a new set 38.5 superswampers and a neighbor came over and asked what we were doing. When we told her, she said "I thought you needed a machine to do that" I said no, YOU need a machine to do that. I AM a machine.
Great video! Thanks!!
Yeah, works in principal….destroys your alloy wheel edges……..
Badass!!!!
You forgot to mention this only works on 15 or 16" tires, not low pros. Also, you can only do this on steel or chrome rims. Otherwise gonna scuff your wheels.
Solid.

Brilliant Mind and Excellent Video! Very Informative! Thanks for sharing!💪🙏💪😎
You need wider tires
Many thanks to you sir. This saves a bunch of money and it appears to be quite effective a manner to get the job done. Thanks again man as you have helped so many of us.
good video, but you got to balance the tire, so the shop will charge you at least $15 and they charge $22 to install/balance/mount the tire
Wish I had another car to use lol. Good way to damage you rim.
It's painful the way he drags the rims on concrete lol
Nice now try a 40 series .. Haha jk good job!
Thank you great video now you saved me 40-50 bucks thanks alot my guy
Those are small tires with a decent amount of profile - 70%? That's the easiest situation. That said, you did it quicker and safer than anybody I have ever seen. Some people run the timber along the side of the tire and drive right across the side of the tire - that method worries me because maybe (specially with very low profile 50%) the wheel can flip up and slap the fender. Your method keeps the vehicle away from the tire. Good job!
Thank you!
👍👍mmm
Bro just buy a pressing machine from me instead of using that car
How do you balance the tires?
Nice one. I’d recommend putting something like a towel under the rims when you’re doing this to avoid all those unnecessary scuffs on the rims!
Crab. Two tires heavily damaged!! Nice job!
Great Job, 7 mins, pretty damn fast!
My old man used to use a slam fire log splitter when I was growing up and a laundry list of grunts and cuss words with occasional thrown tools. 😂 This looks simpler.
I'd scratch the rims doing this
Making me cringe at all the scatches that would end up on the rime by dragging it around on the concrete! Premise is good, execution.....needs work. But overall a good idea.
For the last two weeks, being trying to break bead of a 190/17 motorcycle tyre, even with the help of bead breaker tool, still can't do it, its like its weld on?
U scraped the mags☠️☠️☠️
Thrown in some balancing beads before you air up the tire and you can skip the balancing step. 👍
Cool thanks homie!
Got to do this since they are charging up to $50 at local shops to do it.
The only thing I question is breaking the bead like that. Smashing the tire like that can break the banding in the middle of the tire. Glad you are using it for a spare.
Thankyou. This video was very helpful.
who cares about rim paint, right ?
You can take the stem out with a flat head screwdriver you don’t need a tool
2.3M views and well deserved!
This guy made it look so easy, but it is not that easy. Perhaps it is a stretched old tire or smaller rim. Not all tires are that easy to mount/dismount without proper tools. I worked on a Camry SE 2017 tires 215/55/17 no tools (I broke the bead with a machine). I wish he could do the same on this Camry SE tires. After about 2 hrs of fighting to dismounting/mounting I finished one tire. The tire would not get air no matter what I tried. The air kept escaping thru the beads. Finally, I took it to a tire shop, they also could not put air on the tire. The shop guy had to unmount the tire and mount it back and just then he was able to put air on the tire. A lot of these videos in youtube are just lies. These videos are made to deceive people.
I thought you were going to jump on the board to break the bead! But the truck thing is probably better.
I have those same shoes
I think the tall sidewall or profile of the tire and such a small wheel makes it more flexible. Good luck with a 18" or larger wheel with low profile tires. Additionally more than likely will scratch up the rim doing it.
I agree with you. There is not fking way that he would do the same to a new stubborn tire. Even the tire machine has trouble unmounting/mounting some new stubborn tires. The tire machine puts an immense force that no human being or hand tools would be enough to stretch a tire that strong.
Thanks for the tips
Bro just made a video explaining how to do this step by step and still did this faster than a machine shop visit. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Chingon carnal 🎉
Excellent video. I do the same myself but instead of using a 4x4, I put the tire in front of my truck drivers side tire and drive over the side wall to break the bead. Then I take if off like you did. When I make videos, I tape a piece of paper over the license plate.
Will need to do this soon as the greed motivated laws are suggesting soon, old (to them) tyres will be refused service (fitting, repair, balance) forcing people to buy. Note old is stated now to match thevmanufacturers warranty period of 6 years. That is 6 years to wear out 4 tyres, 3 years per pair of tyres. That is not how it used to be and if you look at barn find tyres they are decades older but have less to any dry rot and most stays inflated for decades (campers, rv and trailers). Today tyres not only have shorter life, the laws are making them shorter. What of tomorrow when manufacturers keeps lowering the warranty period.
You can use a screw if u don’t have the packet to let the air out
So helpful. First one took a few minutes, the rest relatively easy. Thank you so much.
You didn’t do the mounting part in the right way! Watch some videos of others please!
