Back in the late 70's I worked at a dealership, a guy would come around and had a machine he would grind whitewalls on the car. Whitewalls were an option back then, most were blackwalls. He also would do a thin grind then dye it red on the muscle cars. Pretty cool to watch him do it.
@@ChevroletC10andNova ok thanks I ready up about it afterwards, the old tires where white underneath, now they have the black added into them, many thanxs for the reply anyway

Es de 80 grits
Is it easier on a bare tire or the tire on a wheel. I would think it would be easier with the tires all aired up
I have tried it both ways I think its about the same
How’d you make the the White circle so perfect?
You just grind it out the circle is under already you just need to grind it out slowly to not mess it up
what kinds of tire?its must be tire which is basicly white unde black?or is all kind of tire we may do it?
Any with white letters or the skinny white wall
So If i have skinny whites i can do this and make them wider?
Yes correct
Do you know anyone by you who sells shaved whitewalls of all sizes?
I don’t sorry
I don't get it are you saying the tires are "white" underneath ?
