My name is Christopher Peter & i am a Designer nicknamed Chip
I spend most of my time pottering in the garden, when not working on my gade II listed cottage. Update! .. we sold the cottage and moved back to our Town house and I’m now working on this project.
The channel will comprise of gardening hints, garden tips & garden design ideas that i have learned over my 35 years in the Design industry
Hopefully we will have fun & some giggles along the way.

The berries look great and scream Christmas. Alas in nz, most berries don’t line up with Xmas. The pots are beautiful, but I’m not sure they need, or will appreciate the red robin. Just the skimmia and the Ivy is enough for perfection

In reference to the whole “don’t cut things back it protects them from the cold,” discussion. My 99-year-old great-grandmother always said “life is too short to look at ugly, dead plants.” I cut mine back as soon as it freezes.

I've been so busy I'm only just catching up on this fabulous vlog! Wow, what a difference you've made taking away and adding winter festive colour. I've said it many times, you have a wonderful eye for design, you just know where to place the plants, for the best visual display. The new doors are fantastic, I can visualise you both cooking the turkey and looking out on your wonderful courtyard!
