    At first I thought that the slate was fine. But then I began to think it was too matchy-matchy with the color you picked for the raised beds. I totally agree with your choice of pebbles. It makes everything pop. Another great choice. Looking forward to seeing the other two beds made and planted out.

      Hi Maria, I was thinking exactly the same , I did liked the slate at first but it did start to look a bit bland 👍🏼 glad you like the switch to pebble’s 🤠 have a wonderful day 🌱 Chip

    A question. I’ve come in part way through your vlogs. Are you doing 2 gardens? I liked the slate because you don’t see it in New Zealand but the contrast of the stones looks better

    These pebbles look very Japanese, I thought you were going for pea gravel and was surprised by their scale. But it's not really a pathway so it will be a nice design element.

      Hi Jlanvers, yes I agree it does have a Japanese feel about it & I’m glad you see this so early in the process , it probably come from my love of the Japanese gardens 🤠 .. im hoping as the garden progresses it will take on more of the characteristics of the Japanese look 👍🏼 thanks for your feedback very much appreciated & have yourself a wonderful day 🌱 Chip

    Looks fantastic but from experience light pebbles are a nightmare to keep they end up looking grubby quite quickly

    • @ChipsGreenWorld
      @ChipsGreenWorld  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Torikeen , I never really thought to say but the pebbles are a natural stone colour not white , they just look that way as they are covered in light chalky coating , I’m hoping after a couple of downpours of heavy rain the pebbles will look fabulous , thank you for your feedback it’s very much appreciated & have a wonderful day 🤠 all the best 🌱 Chip
