I LOVE IXL. I used it as a supplemental curriculum as well. Whatever the kids needed extra practice on you can definitely find that subject in IXL just like you said lol. Boddle Learning is a similar program and it's FREE lol but IXL is more challenging in my opinion. I enjoyed your video! Thanks for sharing with us! ❤✏️

Girl!! This is soooo inspiring. I wish I could rewind time back 12 years and home school my son. You are awesome!!🩷 I’m definitely going to look up IXL for him so after school when he says “no homework”, I can say “Yes you do”😂😂😂😂 And I’ll blame you when he stomps up the stairs LOL✏️

I’m putting in a one month notice at my job today, so I can get ready to be a stay at home wife/mom. (I’m pregnant with my first.) I’ve been extremely terrified of making the transition (even though it’s literally always been the dream and we do feel like God has been leading us to this decision). I’ve been so afraid that I won’t have any motivation if I’m at home and I’ll just end up always being frustrated and overwhelmed. It is very encouraging to see moms/wives just going for it and finding joy and meaning and structure in daily home life. In our modern world it is truly easy to fall into the mindset of thinking because everyone else is working a full time job and being a mom then I must just be lazy or weird if I can’t do both. Thank you for reminding me that motherhood is an extremely important position worth pouring my energy/efforts into.

👍🏾nice video I’ve homeschooled my children there entire life and for many years other people’s children as well this past May my 17 and 19 year old daughters wanted to graduate together so I made that happen now I have my 15 year old twin daughters left however my older 2 still have lessons with me 1 1/2hrs a day because they want to get their drivers licenses together and me being who I am have to teach laws my husbands role to teach machines of a vehicle along with field trips so homeschooling is a life long job that your children will be thankful you decided to do for them and our dinning room is where it all started as well I will look at your past videos to get to know you better well done my friend 👍🏾

Finally! Finally, someone is using thrifted items and things most people have around the house to build a learning space. I *wish* I never purchased brand new anything for my kids because they destroy it so fast (accidents happen- nothing stays nice).

I understand what you mean about that beginning stage of sisterlocks and trying to make it work😂. Your hair is BEAUTIFUL! I was a huge hot mess with barely any hair when I started so I wore my African head wraps until my hair got to YOUR length lol. 6 years later and now they are lower back length and I miss the short hair lol. Glad I found your channel, we have ALOT in common. Lord bless ❤
