- Today I am sharing some tips that have helped me while balancing working from home and homeschooling. Im also showing a small glimpse of how I prepare a few lessons for the week. I hope you enjoy!

I love seeing this channel by a black woman! We are planning for our family and I love watching videos about work life balance for moms. I do work for myself but some tips do apply.
I love the tips about having the arts and crafts projects / supplies while I work when they are home with me.
My goal is to go PT with my biz and ideally do 3 days of day care about 6 hours (9-3 or 10-4) while I work and then 2 days off with kids home during the week. We will see.
Hello! Yes I did return to work (same company same job). I am now part time though. I work 5 hrs Mon-Fri. I also work earlier hours which helped because my boys are still sleeping the 1st half of my shift. I love that you are planning ahead. 🤎
Thank you for this video! I'm a work from home mama and I have 3 little boys - 5yr, 3yr and 2 months. I'm homeschooling the 5 and 3 year olds through preschool right now. Great video! So nice to see this perspective on YT. I’m also a full time work from home and homeschooling mom here. I work a corporate job and my kiddos are 6 and 3. I agree with everything you mentioned here and especially relate to the creativity piece. This has been invaluable - creativity with activities, schedules, and expectations as a whole. I also think open communication with your village is important to. For me that’s my hubby and being sure to communicate with what we all need to make it work!
Yes! Communication is vital. We have a running joke in our house that dad is the PE teacher.😂 He takes over when I need a break
I’m a military spouse and sahm, I’m not letting go of our desire to homeschool our kids. My husband is going to the reserves for a while and will be doing college full time. We’re not sure what that’s going to look like, but I may need to get a job. I’m hoping to find something to do from home. I’m having such a hard time accepting the change, I don’t want to miss anything or be away from our children, I know I need to do what is necessary though. Love my babies, homemaking and always being there with them. Thank you for this, it’s given me a little hope and confidence.
You can absolutely do it! I think once I accepted that our homeschool journey and schedule wouldn’t look like everyone else’s it made it easier for me to figure out what worked for my family.

Thank you so much 🤎 My planner is by plum paper. It was a bit pricey in my opinion. I enjoy it but I don’t see myself buying it again. Or if I do maybe not doing so many add ons.

Do you have a homeschool co-op?
Nope! I haven’t given that much thought as this was our first year homeschooling. It’s something I may revisit in later years though.
