We have never used a daycare or babysitter. Family has watched our children briefly at times but thats it. It has meant we have to sacrifice at times but we are totally happy with our decision. My babies are my responsibility.
I only watch two of your videos and I identify so much with you! Love your energy and I can tell you are an amazing mom.
I had no experience/education related to the teaching profession when I went into homeschooling my older child, several years ago. I went through a program in our community that has the curriculum already set up for you online. It is the same curriculum that the local (public) elementary schools in our area use. Also, as an added plus, I was considered a “coach,” as my son went to a certified teacher once to twice a week. Interesting side note… When my son first started being home schooled in 2nd grade, the teacher that worked with us said he was behind in reading. When he went back to in person school years later, they tested him at above grade level in both math and reading! He still is, to this day! And he loves going to in person school. But my time with him, when he needed, and wanted the one on one attention is a great memory! Interesting side note, my daughter/younger child, has always had in person school, except for during the height of covid. Personality differences between the kids, definitely!❤👍
I love when you said I'm not committed to the process of Homeschooling, but you are committed to being obedient and I absolutely agree with you because I'm the same, this is our second year Homeschooling and I love it..can I be honest, I don't know everything but when I tell you our family is being lead by the Holy spirit on this journey and when the lord moves, we move❤
🥰 Girl I don’t know everything either! This journey has been a true testament that if I just obey and move when He says to, He will provide everything I need right when I need it. He fills is my gaps on a daily basis. 🤎
I am in the same boat! Lead by the Holy Spirit to homeschool my daughter who is currently in 2nd grade. "I am not committed to homeschooling but being obedient"! Girl! If that is not my life lol. But I love the video.
sometimes I have to check in like “you sure still want me to do this?” 😂 Thank you for watching. 🤎
I remember seeing this video when I was going THROUGH it friend! I wanted a part time job to help fund homeschool trips but then my husband was let go from his job so praise God my job became a full time work from home position 😭🤍. I struggled because I didn’t work for 8 years and then went to full blown full time working mama! I cried so much thinking I had to send my babies to school and seeing your video helped me see that you can work AND be home with your babies! We homeschool in the morning and I work from lunch to dinner time. It’s a huge sacrifice but I’m so thankful God blessed us with this job! So thank you for posting that video because it truly helped me when I was in the middle of a storm! 🤍
This has to be the most beautiful, and relatable video I have watched in a very long time. Thank you so much for sharing your heart.
Thank you so much ! 🥰
Great subject! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! 🤗
Your daycare experience is very valid! I have always been wary & scared to leave my kids at a daycare because of the horror stories yes, and I also worked at a daycare once and that was enough to make me not want to send my kids there! But my question for you is: do you have to be very knowledgeable I guess, to be able to homeschool your kids? I always thought if I homeschooled and my kids needed help in a subject that I wasn’t fond of, I could always get them local tutoring right?
Bringing in a tutor is a great option! I think if I homeschooled long term it is something I would for sure implement. Because my boys are so young, I don’t find it necessary just yet.
Girl You know im watching and thank you for the shout out I'm coming back soon 💕Hearing that your initial thought to homeschooling scared you makes this so relatable and seem way more possible for me. I can't wait to hear the rest of these answers thank you so much for this video
Thanks for sharing. I am a first time mom and the thought of leaving my baby boy with a stranger gives me anxiety. Not even to mention the cost of care which is insane.
The cost is insane. Most of the time you’re working just to pay for childcare! I hope you are able to find a place that gives you peace and end up loving.
The voice change took me out. Yes edit
Love. This was so well done. Thank you for answering all of my questions but also thank you for making homeschooling less intimidating. When you mentioned going to school and having that background for a second I did think mmmm maybe I am unqualified then you uprooted that seed realllll quick lol. I will definitely have more questions and video ideas for you but to end this comment just know you are an incredible mom and teacher and all that you're doing to make homeschooling work is so admirable. 🥹💕 I am so proud of you
So thankful for you Kmiya. 💕 Your encouragement and support mean the world.
