Is there a way to use the Meta quest 3 with Windows 11 version 24H2? My mixed reality app says my PC is running a version of Windows that doesn't support?

Was playing pcvr phasmophobia on meta quest 2 with 2 PlayStation player friends wirelessly with pc connected via Ethernet cable and I experienced no connection issues where my game would crash. This includes no perfomances changes and having the screen on my pc screen aswell, then about a month later I decided to do everything the same but play solo and I was constantly running into the game crashing every 10 or so minutes. Does anyone know why this might be?

I did this for my Quest 3. Dude @realityrise Wow, Thank you thank you thank you . I'll pop a $ thank you now also. Thank you going through every step and even the problems one may encounter, since I had them all. Darn This was NOT easy. For anyone out there, I am completely non techie or software savvy or anything. I'm an 80's kid and these days it feels like things are moving too fast for me to understand, but he explains it so well and just take time with each step. I had to watch some other side videos also but if I can do it, gosh anyone can. Oh my word. But, took me the entire morning, well about 3 hours lol to do everything and it WAS SO WORTH IT. Seriously, I wanted to give up where I had to do the Quest Developer verification etc. What a mission, but, trust me it is well well worth it. One of the games myself and brother play is Showdown Contractors exfil. It looked ok before, but now, it's like seeing graphics on Playstation 2 vs now Playstation 4 game. I am not joking and I am writing this to let you know, don't give up to get through this entire process. I tested Vride SBK, better, Realfishing VR... I havent even tweaked settings yet. I literally just went straight into Contractors and for me personally. Like 40%? or maybe even 60% better looking. When I looked at enemy NPC through Acog scope he was this grainy blurry thing. Now it looks much better. But the surroundings, especially in the distance actually has detail. Used to be kinda grainy out of focus and almost weirdly rendering the whole time especially when I slowly turned my head. It was only when I stayed still looking at a area where the Quest 3 and game would render bit more detail in. After this it is day and night difference. I can now actually see someone running in distance not just this blurry thingy.

I can't work in Immersed or VD using Quest 3. The fuzziness of text is too annoying. Maybe when we get 6K panels in headsets, this will become more feasible.

They really need to make this airplane usable, I could really use a virtual office without everyone looking at what I am doing, A 14h flight to Qatar from Dallas is a real productivity loss 😢 Currently the IMUs get disoriented by the airplane movement 😮‍💨

Can you tell me if there is a simple way to smooth out stuttering in standalone games on quest 3 when graphics are heavy like in Asghards Wrath 2 or Shattered?

The underlying MS code does support keyboard and mouse passthrough, it is just not enabled yet. You can sideload the MS Remote Desktop app from the Play Store and it works just fine as long as you only don't want virtual monitors. Most people use VD for PCVR streaming which RD does not do at all.

Which glasses can support 5 screens and I want them for designing with a 3D program like Blender or Maya?

When I press install in vr workstation it doesn’t pop the download bar up nothing happens. How do I fix this?

I have windows 10, but I realized today in Ques Link Desktop display/control, i can pick any window with the trigger hold and press grab, and pull the Explorer or Chrome or any Window into it's own window and place it anywhere in space then control it with clicks and right clicks! Amazing.

I followed all your steps but why is VR so fucking difficult?? I don't understand it anymore! I have a quest 3 connected with the link cable. I can run 72fps when I set 72Hz in the meta app, also the performance HUD of the debugtool said that I ran 72fps..so far so good.. If I set it to 120Hz in the meta app I have 140fps when I launch a benchmark??? Here the performance HUD of the debugtool springs from 80 to 120fps.. But when I set it at 90Hz in the meta app I only have 72fps in the game (benchmark) and the debugtool don't go over 45fps?? Wtf is this...? Please can someone help me.. today it is allready 3 weeks that I'm looking to fix this..😓🤦! It's really frustrating.... And the thing is, my friend his Quest 2 hold a 90fps stable on my PC (also on the benchmark)... I really hope someone know this issue and can help me!

Hi! At first my fps did not go higher then 35/36fps.. but after I followed all your steps I have a lot of improvement! I had a benchmark at 119.9fps AVG, and I change some things but I don't know what anymore and now I'm stuck at 72FPS, also if I select 90 or 120fps in meta and if I change the framelimit in Nvidia control panel..it's not possible to run more then 72fps, whatever I'm doing/changing. What can I do? Also what I don't understand is that Content manager said that I run 72fps (if I selected 90Hz in meta app) and in the "visible HUD" of the oculus debug tool it's said that I'm running 45fps..?? My headroom isn't stable aswell. Please HELP ME!🙈

So it does not help in situations where you travel without your pc. For instance I am a truckdriver and I would like to play steam games on the road while my pc is back home. Would be nice instead of a small laptop

Virtual Desktop needs a wired version and it'd be perfect.

I find the remote function of the Quest 3 useless because I can't control my PC or desktop with my headset and controller, which is possible with VD. If I still have to be at my PC to control it, this feature (Remote Desktop) is absolutely pointless.

That Passthrough for the Keyboard must only be true for Bluetooth Keyboards right ? I have a Wired, gaming keyboard (nothing fancy) and Quest 3 doesn't work for me as you show.

I looked for but I couldn't find a comparison video between VD and Immersed. Immersed worked way better than this Windows 11 link for me, but it eats a lot of battery. I don't know if VD is worth it's price.
