Question for those that have all the Anbernic XX models. Can you swap the SD cards around from device to device? Like the 35XX SP card into the 28XX or the 35XX H into the 35XX Plus etc...?

it's almost my dream, I need this form factor that is able to play untill PS2, so all retro games with native 4:3 aspect ratio can fit there. maybe 1-2 more years they will release same form factor with better spec... I hope.

I had passed on this one. I guess I’m in the minority that I really enjoy handhelds with joysticks. Having the xxplus and the h, I went with a second h. Greats deals right now. Lol. But after seeing your video, I changed my mind and will get the shell but will wait for a sale. I still think the H is the best handheld for the price and for everything it offers. Javi, what are your thoughts on the RG Cube? It looks interesting. However, I also own the 556 and with the current deals not sure if I would pay more for the Cube. Perhaps a second 556. Lol. Yes, the dmg one also made me double back from getting it because of those beige bezels/borders. Idk, I think because it isn’t black it makes the screen look more small than what it already is and I think the black border also helps with the aesthetic when you’re playing gba with the gba sp bezel applied. But I’m glad I went with silver instead. Really wish they made a cobalt blue one though, had one when I was a kid and it got lost to time.

Agree that setting the 4:3 systems to 8:7 is the secret sauce with this baby. The D-pad is not the greatest and the biggest flaw is the battery/charging. However at that point you have to consider the low price you paid, it's great value.

I have not seen many people talking about this but, would you have any thoughts about the temperature of the handheld while you are using it? i saw its around 40-50 Celsius when playing. Is it noticiable? That would be a deal breaker for me

Are all the Pokemon gba games already pre loaded on the this device? If so that’s all I need to know to purchase this dream console.

What s the point whit sll those full size covers if you can t sccroll fast trought tge games..., stock os is faster , and it could be faster..., plus , how much ubesesary storage will those designs and texts for each game take..., i think simple is better, just the bame of tge game and one cover. ,

Hey Javi, I just received mine, and I want to switch to a name brand SD, is it the same process as the H to upgrade the Firmware ? By downloading the the firmware for the SP of course from the Anbernic website. BTW, the firmware for the SP on their site is 46GB (wow!), Im guessing it comes with the ROMS

This is the most passionate review (first look) from you I've seen to date! Ordered mine day one and been loving it every single moment playing everything to GBA to DS games that don't require 2 screens to be shown at the same time.

I copied all the folders on the original sd card to a 512 gb sandisk card, and the system accepted it with no issues I now have tons more space to add games

I have a micro SD card like the one you show in the video, "Kioxia" I bought it in a local store a few months ago here in Spain, only mine is 16GB, I don't know if they are good or not but I bought it in a store that I sold them... 🤷🏻‍♂

Those SD cards are Toshiba. I’ve had good luck with them

i was originally gonna skip this device, but im glad i didnt. Super awesome build and perfect to bring anywhere. love that you dont need a case for it, plus the battery life is really good, too! i dont think this one can be beat when it comes to clamshells. anbernic hit a homerun for damn sure. great video bro!

Hey Javi! Have you noticed stuttering in the stock firmware? It looks like it's been present since January in Anbernic software. Watch Taki Udon's "We need to talk" video at around 4 minutes for more information.

I have the 35xx plus and I love this 35xxsp and I will buy it but not yet... it is very expensive now and they are presenting some errors that I don't like at all... like the cpu next to the battery... I will wait a few months to lower the price and in case they release a new review of this console... and not regret buying it at this time... it is very expensive at the moment in a few months it will drop in price as they always do, now we are going to pay the price novelty i think...

Well.. i have multiple consoles so i bought the RG35XX PLUS so i don t have to sit down and i can play while laying down on bed .., Would you find this SP version confortable to play laying down or on your side in bed?, haha sounds silly but its a serious question..

I bought the Miyoo mini plus from keepretro, they include a self branded case for it. It’s nothing special, back then it didn’t say anything about it on the site so it was a really nice surprise.

Love your tutorials and reviews! I know a lot of reviewers hate on this model, but if you don't already have the Plus or OG rg35xx, this is a great option. I was looking for a beater device because i love my rg35xxh too much to take it on climbing trips. Saw this for 32 dollars on aliexpress couple of days ago, with free shipping. At that price it was a no brainer. Beer money well spent!
