If you want to buy semi precious stones the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is a must. The best place is Jaipur India. Most of what ends up in Tucson probably passed through Jaipur India. It is where most cabochons are cut and polished. The deals there are the best. Lower than US wholesale, lower than any gem and mineral show. I'm so glad u differentiated block turqouise from compressed. I always heard some people either say it's the worst, and others say it's a good thing.
