Change? or, No Change? Wisdom of Autobiography of a Yogi!
The Longest Day is the Eternal Now
You see: there are two kinds of people: those who like constant change and those who want to keep everything the same. In prior generations the joke ministers would tell to engaged couples was that the husband wants his wife to never change and the wife hopes she can change the husband! oh well. Whether in one life or with the wisdom of many lives, there does come a time when more change no longer enthralls us. At that point we either die or we rise to a higher octave into the watchful state that accepts all change as just another drama: the God's eye view, you might say. In the ETERNAL NOW of the soul, it is ever-new bliss.

How to Know God? Ask a Yogi
มุมมอง 4812 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Not many people yearn to know God but perhaps that's because we can't yearn for someone we've never met? So, how to meet God? Pray for the desire to want to know, love and serve God. God is within you; God is in nature; in people; in all creation. Lets start with seeing through the eyes of God. God is the peace of meditation.
How Devotees Rise with Nayaswami Jamuna
มุมมอง 4619 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Because the experiences of our worldly lives often "brings us to our knees" as Shurjo said last week, the process of rising includes refocusing our inward gaze upward toward the Light of Spirit. We need to remember that God does not mind our mistakes. How can we behave otherwise until the voice of God reverberates in our soul, sending us into the world of inner realities? Our remembrance of our...
Is Meditation helpful for Material Success? Ask a Yogi!
มุมมอง 27วันที่ผ่านมา
In the Book of Job of the Old Testament of Christianity and Judaism, Job's faith in God was purposely tested by taking from his health, his material success and his beloved family. Job kept his faith and proved his spiritual worth. Meditation gives access to higher intelligence and energy but if one misuses these powers, it will be detrimental spiritually. But energy is needed for spiritual gro...

What About by non-spiritual friends? Ask a Yogi!
มุมมอง 4614 วันที่ผ่านมา
As we embark on the spiritual path intentionally we commonly find ourselves out of step with our former friends. We imagine that we must be a true friend and not abandon them yet they have neither support nor appreciation for my new-found spirituality. Is this misguided loyalty? Will Power Vs Surrender: Wisdom of Autobiography of a Yogi
มุมมอง 4421 วันที่ผ่านมา
I just finished reading Michael Singer's book, "The Surrender Experiment." It's a wonderful and inspiring story. But it made me think about the use of the term "surrender." Michael by no means implies passivity of any kind and Yogananda (his guru) certainly emphasized will power in accordance with the temperament of our times. So this video and its written version is intended to clarify this te...
Isn't Non-Attachment a bit Extreme? Ask a Yogi!
มุมมอง 4121 วันที่ผ่านมา
We are here to achieve our destiny: union with God. But we've spent a long time, many incarnations in fact, pursuing the will-o-the-wisp of happiness everywhere EXCEPT in God-consciousness. The path to the Absoluteness of the Infinity of God-consciousness is directional. We've spent a long time getting to this point and while with great intensity of effort we could leap ahead, for most people, ...

Is it wrong to be happy when there's so much unhappiness and suffering in the world? Was Sartre right in saying "In this world that bleeds, all joy is obscene?" Should I Abandon My Talents in order to be Spiritual?
มุมมอง 40หลายเดือนก่อน
Would Albert Einstein have been wrong to abandon his scientific quest in favor of seeking God? A new dispensation, or understanding, has come to spiritual seekers that in this age one evolves toward spiritual freedom by fulfilling one's destiny, one's karma and dharma (righteous path in life). It is a both-and reality, no longer an either-or. In the either-or world of the middle ages the risk w...

Why Does God Permit Suffering? Part 3 - Prod to Pride
God reads the heart. Lately, I’ve been inwardly chanting, “I want to want no more, to play”. Thank you for these nuggets of inspiration, Hriman.
Today glory of Ganga ji is restored to some extent.
Thank you for posting this
Jesus actually did teach reincarnation when He said John the Baptist was Elijah come again a 2nd time.
I appreciate your comments Nayaswami, but I wanted to point out that before Jesus came, there were actually many people who claimed to be the Messiah. This continued after His crucifixion and death. Of course, they were mostly all put to death or their followers left them, so one way or the other their movements ended. I know you come from a Catholic upbringing. If you haven't looked into the Orthodox Church, it may be helpful in understanding the beliefs of the early Christians as well as understanding the doctrines of the Jewish people. Blessings to you! 🙏
Thank-you Nayaswami Hriman for that wonderful piece of Wisdom. Yes there comes a time whereby we need our spritual connections. ❤ It's not easy, because we feel more alone. Especially when it comes to earthly family members.
Thank you Sir. Namaste

My little brother Jesse died at the age of 14 May 8th, 2002 due to a car accident and my little nephew Jesse was born April 8th 2003 at the age of 2 in a half he saw some pictures my mom put in the hallway and said Hey I remember when I took that picture I was 5 years old and I said no mijo (my child) that's not you that's your uncle who died before you were born and he said no Pipa that is me....I remember the man in that frame took me to heaven and he asked me if I wanted to come back and I said yes, because my mom needs me....we started crying because that man in the frame was Jesus Christ....My nephew always did and said things that my little brother did ...and my mom's tears always came out and said my Jesse (his nick name was Chava) and my little nephew said why didn't we give back his nickname too 😢....He did say Jesus Christ was always around when he was little watching them play...but he would tell the other babies to tell him to go and not to take him back to heaven because he wanted to be near his grandma 😭
Thankyou so very much
Wonderful explanation Sir🙏
Wonderful discourse again from master speaker Venkatrao. Very grateful for this beautiful share on motivation, our limitations, and God's compassion. .
What is the how to book that Murali referenced in his discourse?

How beautiful..."God is at the centre of all our desires" ; "God needs us more than we need Him.."
“Bottomless wellspring” 😅
If you look at the homelessness in Britain and America you will notice that most of those people are not averse to working. The problem is that currencies have lost their value through inflation, and as a consequence housing rentals are too expensive. In America many people are working 2 or 3 jobs and still cannot afford permanent housing. Self-sustainable communities are the only solution for so many people now. If you are working in minimum wage jobs earning US$7.00 per hour, your labour would secure far more results as a participant in a developing community. But there are two main impediments to realising this sort of prosperity. The first is that really feudalism never really died. The neo-feudalistic Lords do not want groups of people living co-operarively, independent of their created economic system. From their established position, they can influence local governments and councils to keep a tight rein on land use laws. The second impediment is that although many people are only just keeping their necks above the poverty line, they still have hopes that some political change will restore the country's standard of living. They see the idea of communal living as a kind of failure of the consumerist dream. A community works in harmony with the natural world not by exploiting it. It requires far less stress and labour to build and creates far more social stability.
Thank you brother. Much needed wisdom.

Big Fan of Murali Sir !! If possible, kindly prepare storytelling of complete Mahabharata by Murali Sir 🙏🙏
I think it comes down to a different perspective. Christians believe not only that Christ's crucifixion was a singular act but that Christ himself was a singular guru, the only begotten son of God, that makes the act have special significance. It's not that a guru was crucified. To Christians, God himself in human form was crucified.
Lots of gratitude for you
