I wish the term "AI Opponent" wasn't used in these modes. Automaton, Automa, Automata all make more sense. Maybe I'm just being a stickler, but I don't feel there's much Artificial "Intelligence" going on as the game has absolutely no decision making being done.

Bought Robinson Crusoe for my intro solo playing during lockdown. I wanted to try another solo game. Saw this game on 50% off for Black Friday and grabbed it because Spirit Island keeps turning up on top 10 solo games lists. You did a great job teaching the game. I did same setup and played/copied all your plays. I would pause and read some of rulebook as we went. It took quite awhile! 😅 For the past couple weeks I tried a solo game with all of the Spirits and wow! It’s a great, challenging and surprising solo game! Returned to this play through again and was now able to get a better grasp on your strategy comments. (Also fine tuning some rules that I was getting wrong 🤪) Just wanted to say a big T H A N K S ! ! ! 😁😁😁

Wait I'm confused did i miss something? When he populated the board based off of symbols, he only did half the board. Did i miss something?

This is the second video I've seen saying that this game is good/fun and the only flaw is the cover art. I agree, the cover art isn't great. But all of the big head art on the cards look bad too. Now that I've seen the game played I don't see why anyone says this game is great. I'd give it 4 out of 10 stars.

Just for clarification, don’t the left over bullets that don’t destroy a shield get carried over to the next round? I thought if a shield has 5 and you have 6, you discard 5 and leave 1 for the next round. Also, I thought the shield breaks during the heroine round, then the effect takes place during the boss round when the boss checks for broken shields. Edit: I want to add that I read that in the rule book, bullets carry over but please correct me if I’m wrong.

Just stumbled across Warfighter,trying to learn where to start. As a huge fan of the Chtorr novels, I even ran a couple GURPS War against the Chtorr campaigns, so I am really interested in Warfighter Cutler. I am disabled, handicapped and also dealing with anxiety and depression. I run and play ttrpgs online but it's limited and have been searching for a few months now for some solo games but have been limited by budget so I have to do a lot of research as I can't just try stuff out. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos. Thank you.

Seeing this playthrough was incredibly helpful! The game seemed super complicated to see the rules. Watching a playthrough helped me to really understand that it's not actually overcomplicated. I might have to give this game a buy and try.

10:46 isn't a sacred site a land where you have 2 or more pressence? Why were you able to target that land?

Love the game but sold it due to the atrocious artwork. When the expansion came out I bought it again. The game is great fun but it is uglier than a rotten corpse...
