Fantastic podcast. I love hearing honest and direct opinions, good and critical. I'm not a podcast person but I'm here for every new episode for this one. Agree about Cookie Champion, there's nothing that attracts me here and man that rulebook presentation is so off. I hope you end up backing Trailblazer ;)
I so want to try Air War, as that's one of my favorite genres of games. I love Aces of Valor and Bomb Run, but I just can't justify a cost of almost $100, sight unseen.
@@tabletopforoneYes, I used to have Corsair Leader, and I lost it on a trip (I think someone stole it, which was a major bummer because they not be cheap). It was good, but I have yet to buy another copy. I have seen someone play the Japanese one (Zero Leader I think its called), and it has a wild Kamikaze mode, so I have not bought it yet. My favorite is still Aces of Valor. Of course, I am a World War I history buff, so I have a bias. :)
I’ve been on a bit of a Buckle/Turczi kick. I’ve been loving Voidfall so much that I ordered Imperium Classics as well. I haven’t played that one yet, and it’s gotten mixed reviews by TH-camrs (I think Alex Radcliffe gave it a 2/5 😮). But it’s also, like, #10 on the BGG Top Solo list this year. How do you like the game?
I think it's a great game that gets better the more you play. I'll give you some pros and cons. Pros: Huge replayability (even with just one box) Each AI is challenging in their own way Deep strategic gameplay Cons: It's long for what it is Each AI has its own priority chart (kind of a pro too, since they act differently) High learning curve
Thanks so much!
Your podcast keeps me sane ❤ Thank you!
Haha, at least it keeps one of us sane 😆. Glad you enjoy it.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm going to try to make this a weekly thing. We'll see how it goes.

Have you played any of the Leader Games? I enjoy those for tactical air combat. Also, I hear the Skies Over series is good.

I only back rare/ exclusive items now. Shipping + foreign exchange is too much 😅
Yeah, they really need to make it worth it. A few cards just doesn't cut it.

Any chance this podcast will come to Apple Podcasts?
It definitely will. I'll be setting that up today or over the weekend.

Lands of Galzyr is releasing a RPG journal 📔 (retail pre-order) 😊
Oh, that is great to hear! I didn't get the board game (I regret), but I'll look into that one.
