That is SO wrong and misleading about Corgi’s! They are herding dogs (like Border Collies) can be very combative and aggressive, and are well known for nipping children’s (and other family members’ ankles in order to “herd” them, too. Very dominant personalities, NOT kiddy-friendly, first time owner dogs, at all! Sadly, they often end up in the pound

i've had australian shepherds for over 50 years. My last Aussie was an extraordinary dog. he would come and get me when my phone rang and also when the oven timer went off when I was baking cookies. When I called my husband and son to dinner he would go and get them, insisting lassie style that they follow him into the kitchen. When I was downstairs on the treadmill my son and the dog would show up at the door. I asked my son how he found me. He said, mom whenever I come over Loki (the aussie) takes me to wherever you are in the house. he was was a wonderful dog, and I miss him every day. We got another aussie from the same breeder but unfortunately, he isn't anywhere as bright or involved with us as the last one was. Something to consider. Aussies with excessive white can be both blind and deaf.

After watching the video and reading the comments- I’m convinced it doesn’t have to do with the breed but rather having good luck. Dogs, like humans, are all different and unique in their own way. I have a poodle right now- love her- but barks a lot, high energy, and although smart and very trainable- she’s quite rebellious.

What about a miniature schnauzer, they are like your shadow, loves to cuddle, play, going anywhere you want to go. They don’t shed, they don’t smell like some other breeds. Just a thought, if you want a real devoted companion.

I would have to disagree with the Pug not barking much My daughter had four at one time, they all barked incessantly, two were even aggressive toward my neighbor. Funny thing is that deer that came up to the fence ignored the Pugs even though the Pugs were barking. The deer not intimidated at all by the barking.

My toy poodle n I are inseparable. He comes with me in church, parties n shopping. He's the best fur baby. So sensitive when i dont feel well. At one time, he woke me up when i was hypo. He's so smart, loving and a great guests host. He loves people. The securitu guards at the malls knows him.

You forgot to tell people to wear leather gloves when you go to clip their nails cause they will draw blood. I have two both have totally different attitudes but both hate getting their nails trimmed.
