another cool forte vid. glad i found ya since i am lookin at mods for my new forte. i do wanna keep my warranty so i gotta make sure what will and wont void it.
Thanks for the video! I'm removing the red accent on the front and need to remove the bumper cover to access the clips. I was able to remove the diffuser in rear to access the screws and clips to get the red accent out without removing the rear bumper if anyone runs across this video doing the red delete. Thanks!!!!

@@marck.5116 my friend said it’s an EBay spoiler, he doesn’t have the link anymore unfortunately. But I’m pretty sure it should be easy to find on eBay!
If you had to do it again, any chance you'd be able to leave the underside rivets in, and just pull the top of the bumper away to install the Velossa intake?
@@tonyiafolla1448 Honestly I don’t think so since the top of the bumper is curved into the body pretty good. Im sure if you pulled it back from the top too much it can break the rivets on the bottom.
The Velossa Tech just helps route air directly into your air box and looks cool, that’s about it! Simple mod and works great also if you have an aftermarket intake (although it helps a bit with stock as well). You can only route it to the side where I have installed it to in this video
Yeah, idk about taking advice from a guy that calls a ratchet a wrench repeatedly. Anyone who is thinking of buying this car, don't. I bought one new and owned for over a year and I will admit not a bad car but not a great one either. With FBO the most you can get is 250whp. I was really disappointed when I found out after buying the car. Looked into Elantra N but it lacks a lot of interior features I like in a new car. The forte GT and even the K5 GT lack the refinement and tuneability aspect I was looking in a car. If you're like me and want a great daily with good mpg that's not a hatchback, get a Jetta GLI. It's insane how much power those cars can make and how nice they are on the Inside. Kia killed me with small things they cheeped out on that overall make a car a car. Like you're telling me they couldn't put automatic up down windows for a least the front two seats? My 2015 work van has those, and a fully loaded brand new car doesn't? Don't waste your time or money on this car. Either get a Kia stinger, Genesis G70 or, Jetta GLI. I like your content btw, thought I'd share my experience.
@JlunaPlays not a common issue on them. Head gaskets are also alot cheaper than an entire transmission. I see a lot of people have issues with the dct trans and the clutch in the manual with the forte gt. I felt mine starting to act up around only 18k. Let's also not forget the class action law suit against kia because they couldn't make an engine that didn't blow up.
@@kingkillerx6922 he does! With the DCT, it’s a lot harder to hear since when you shift in a DCT, you don’t let go of the throttle, therefore no “whoosh” sound. It’s a lot better heard with a manual since you let go of the throttle between shifts
